not really, David Busch's Nikon D90 guide to digital slr photography is more complete but it cost around 1.6k.

I just bought this book and it is really helpful, will post some tips.

EASY ISO- when using aperture priority, you can adjust the iso with the thumb dial. when using shutter priority, you can adjust the iso with the front dial.

menu >  custom setting menu > shooting/display > ISO display and adjustment > choose EASY ISO :-D
