lao,

the bacchus is already in my stable hehehe dito ko nilagay burstbuckers ni vhunter :)

O ayan Boss Filippo, palit daw kayo ni Boss lao ng Epi nya.  8-)
So, pinalitan mo na pala ng pups. Soundclip naman jan.
Sa ngayon eh 3 na lang yung gitara ko, 2 Teles at 1 Edwards na LP. Tama na kabibili.

Les Pauls are indeed heavy, but it's heavy because of the wood used and it's that weight that gives a Les Paul it's tone and sustain.

guys i have a question.. i have an archtop lp and it seems that i can't rest the gutar on it's back because the neck is leaning to the back.. is that the way it's supposed to be??
i haven't been to any guitar store this past few days so i really haven't gotten the chance to see other archtop lps..

i think you really cant rest any LP's on their backs, because of their angled head :-D

No worries, that's the way it's supposed to be.  The angle of the headstock is what gives the correct string tension of a 3 on each side machine headstock.  That's why 6 on a side's have string trees.

This is true, it can happen talaga....  especially with some LPs where the joint at the nut part wasn't well executed....  and also due to the string pressure, i guess.....

Lao, Bart,

ganda pups ng deviser men, very transparent clear notes. Alnico magnets na gamit nila. I jst found it too much on the trebley side, though i didnt bother na trying to put the pickups closer to the strings. of course the 1 inch slab of quilt maple on top of the mahogany body had to do with the brightness, but generally speaking the pups were bright in tone... also, personaly kase, although maganda yung zebra pups look, im more for covered humbuckers. para sa ibang usapan na lang yung mga preferences ko kung hubad ang pinaguusapan haha... e di naman siguro lalagay ni MR. Gibson yung burstbuckers sa mga lp supreme nila o mga r9 nila kung di maganda tunog yung inisip ko. so... sinugal ko.... and ang sarap hehe :) yoko maglagay ng soundclips kase mahuhuli yung kabulukan ko magguitara haha. i'll post pics of my harem soon hehe :) Sir BART!!! padala mo na yung goldtop on p90's mo sa akin dito sa Pinas, descartehan ko ulit yung shipping para mapaganda na natin upgrades sa house mo haha. Cute ng baby mo men!

Just want to check, is that a string attached to the guitar pick?

Why didn't I think of that?
