Anyone here who lifts weights, but doesn't drink any protein supplements? Iniisip ko kasi uminom ng protein supplement for faster results. Ayoko lang magbuff up. Just lean and muscular sana. Although I can see improvements sa strength naman.
Sinubukan ko dati 'to. Para lang ako nagpagod sa wala. No gains in strength and weight/size. Stagnant ang workout ko kasi walang mapagkunan ng needed protein.

taena kinaya ko manual squat 180lbs pero ndi ko manual na nilagay sa shoulder ko yung barbell. parang nakakatakot maging dependent sa creatine.

bumili ako creatine kahapon. I tried it earlier leg day ko.

Parang bilis ng reaction mo sa crea. Di ba nakahalo sa pre workout supplement yan? Yung loaded ng caffeine at ginseng?

wala pa ko plano mag take ng supplements,
nakikita ko pa naman improvements and currently puro white meat kinakain ko

1. I believe mesomorph ako. What does that indicate?
2. What are "push" sets pala?
3. Other than protein, ang nirecommend sakin ng ilang gym-goers dun ay amino and BCAA. Haven't done any research on it though.

And then, what should I look out for? Actually after a workout naman, mukang maga or putok yung target muscles. Which I think normal naman.

^mesomorph yung muscular type. kahit nag start ka na payat, sa ganyan body type, mabilis mag respond ang katawan to form into the ideal shape. yung push sets is what we call the destruction sets pinag bubuhatan ko. thats the last set of every workout na yung heaviest na kaya mo ang bubuhatin mo. it doesnt matter how many reps you can do. kahit 3 lang basta sya yung halos himatayin ka na sa pwersa. ito yung dahilan kung bakit may naririnig kang sumisigaw ng "push! push!" at yung nag bubuhat ay "aaarrrgggggghhhh!". they key there is the form. kung pagbaba at pag akyat ng barbell sa dibdib mo eh maintained yung flex ng dibdib mo, mas maga sya pagkatapos. thats muscle tear. and provided that you have a good supplementation, rest(sleep) and diet, yung tear na gagamutin ng katawan mo ay magiging form na ng katawan mo. kaya ka din feeling 'maga' after workout dahil sa pump ng blood at supply ng oxygen. dun din papasok yung proper breathing.

may mga kilala ako na walang supplement na ininom pero grabe ang korte. yung iba bumibili lang nung tingi na amino sa gym kasi nakita lang nila yung iba na umiinom nun pero korteng korte katawan. yung iba paitlog itlog lang. either mesomorph, masipag o matiyaga lang talaga sila kaya magaganda korte. basta wag kang titigil pre at i-challenge mo sarili mo. magpa spot ka kung gusto mo din yung nagsisisigaw sa gym hehe

nung 4th month ko ata napansin na ndi nag babago korte ng katawan ko. pero nung binigyan ako ng dtp then heavy/light na push and pull program dun nag improve. lumabas cuts tho yung chest tlga mhirap pa kortehin. mas okay siguro kung dadaan muna sa DTP. dun mag sisimula kumorte and tataas strength and endurance.
samahan mo pa ng more protein intake.
and bawas muna sa alak  :-D :-D

To add sa sinabi ni Marzi, subukan mo rin bawasan yun day interval ng workout mo. For example, you did your chest workout on a Monday, subukan mo makabuhat ulit on Thursday or Friday. Sa akin kasi, noong three times a week lang ako nagbubuhat, mabagal ang gains ko in terms of strength and muscle. Pero nang inaraw-araw ko na pero different muscle groups, mas mabilis ang improvement ko.

So yung push sets pala yung sinasabi saking "failure" - na kahit ilang reps basta pinakamabigat na kaya mo. About sa muscle tear, nasabi na rin sakin yun before. Tear the muscles, intake protein (feeding the muscles), then let it heal. Nag increase naman ako ng weight pero gawain ko kasi, di ako nagiincrease kapag hindi perfect yung form ko during sets.

3 to 4 times naman ako this week pero never ko ginawa yung may mauulit na muscle group. Kunwari Monday chest, tapos Wednesday/Friday chest ulit. I think okay naman yung program/split ko. Feeling ko I just need more protein. Araw-araw naman ako kumakain ng egg white (yep, tinatanggal ko yung dilaw lol).

boss, gusto mo bigay ko sayo program ko ng heavy/light push pull kasama heavy/light legs?
heavy sets will be just 6-8 reps. light 12reps
kaso good ito sa 6x a week na dalaw sa gym. at increase ng weight every 2 weeks
or DTP?
More reps less weight, less reps more weight
ex Flat Dumbbell Bench Press
Starting Rep : 50
Starting Weight : 10lbs or depende sayo
every set bawas ng 10 rep then plus five or 10 lbs sa timbang
pag inabot mo na 10reps nalang
start ka naman sa 10 reps then pataas naman, pa bawas naman yung timbang.

1 week sumasakit chest ko dyan

12 sets
10 sets
8 sets
6 sets - heaviest you can lift/assistance required

ang di ko pa naususbukan yung pyramid at heavy to light weights.

try nyo din tignan yung GVT - German Volume Training. medyo weird principle pero yung tattoo artist ko dati sabi ok daw sa kanila ng kapatid nya.

I decided yesterday na sumabay sa mga tangke sa gym.
Light nila heavy ko. [apple] parang 1st time ko mag buhat.
Sinagad nila ko ng 160lbs sa chest kaya naman buti may spotter.

basta make sure to check the dates on the package lalo na pag sobrang mura nung benta. its probably some months close to its expiration.

but the good thing is, expiration dates do not necessarily mean na hindi mo na pwede consume yung product isang araw matapos yung mismong date sa label.

dun ako bumibili lagi sa mga shops dun. pag gusto ko makatipid, yung mga price dropped na 5lbs whey ang kinukuha ko. i just make sure that i dont miss a day without consuming a single serving para maubos ko agad. naalala ko yung Ultimate Nutrition whey na dyan ko binili, at 29gms of protein per serving, sulit na sulit sya dahil Php2,300 ko lang nabili yung 5 lbs.

oftentimes, i would shop for some supplement caps na malayo pa sa expiration. medyo mahal pero pang matagalan ko kasi ginagamit at lalo na pag hindi ako naka stack at the time. stock ko lang sa bahay.

yung Melatonin supplements din dyan ko hini-hoard.

panalo lasa nyan ON Gold Standard Whey. check mo kung meron pa sila nung double chocolate, saraaaap! pag wala ok na yung simpleng choco flavor. best tasting whey protein ive had.
