Hi, Ralph_Petrucci and other strap lovers.

Question lang po: For straps like the above, aside from lengthening or shortening the strap, is/are there other uses for the remaining hole of the thin leather portion if it is too long? I don't think I'm short but every time I get such straps, there's always that excess length of leather portion (in the pic, it's the part with the black lace) even when the strap is sized small. Ugly naman to cut to length. What do you guys do with it? I haven't seen anyone or even pics of pros who have that excess portion so maybe, I'm not adjusting or using it the way it was intended?

I always thought it was just an option to have the guitar lower if you wanted it to be lower :O ireally didn't bother to think about it hahaha

Sensya na. I may just be OCing about it but I just don't like that excess portion there. I have tried to have one cut by a cobbler before but it just wasn't the same visually and never tried again.

You could double back the short length so that the strap button on your guitar is on the "edge" hole (e.g. thread first from the bottom then come down, instead of threading from the top slot).
