Has anyone tried out using Throne Shakers?
The electronic "thumpers" you attatch to the throne to give you a "bass" response via strong vibrations via the attatched unit on the throne.. :D

naka try ako nung butt kicker but that was a few years back when i was still involved in sound reinforcement.
ewan ko sa iba ha pero feeling ko parang nakaupo ako sa makina ng sasakyan kapag nagvibrate sya. when you get used to it, para lang merong sumisipa dun sa paa ng throne mo ang feeling

but do they help in any way? :?:

imho, since i prefer hearing what the band members are playing rather than my own then no. its more of letting you monitor yourself which might also have an effect on your dynamics. imagine playing softly and you still get your butt kicked making you play a little louder than usual.
it would be nice to have a metronome plug into one so instead of following a click, you follow your ...err... butt

have a buttkicker that I use sa sound reinforcement ko. I use it whenever the need arises for additional monitoring specially for the kick drums. mas ok gamitin sya partner ng edrums kase nandun yun dagdag sensory satisfaction in playing. Overall ok naman.
