What you need: bass drum pedal, crash cymbals.
pwede rin snare drum at hi-hats and of course your drumsticks!

anu kaya gamit dun???
 :?  :?  :?

Hahah, I have the same observation about Dayo. Must be the lack of monitors onstage or mixing issues, but from the crowd, bands sound great. Onstage though, it's like practicing in a studio with bad gear.x) Heheh, by the way, the hi-hats are normally ZBT's, but I chanced upon the time when the Tech swapped them for 12" Zildjian A Special Recording Hats that sounded oh-so-awesome.xD

TEATRINO Theatre, Promenade, Greenhills

The kit is a Yamaha stage custom. 12",13" and 16" toms, 22" kick and a 14 x 6.5 snare. the sound is very good and satisfactory because of the excellent micing of the technicians present. and a monitor speaker is placed behind the throne to let you hear your bandmates. the big downside, is the cymbals. these are the old series of Paiste 101 brass which is in usable condition. but to no avail, will definitely sound better if you used your own cymbals as well. hi hat stand and bass pedal are still fully-functional.

things to bring: CYMBALS

mayric's, espana update:
drums -- floor tom isn't really audible to the audience (only "felt"), dead sounding, can't be tuned (maybe because of the head). floor tom legs can't be adjusted very high; a problem if you sit on a high throne.

cymbals -- bottom hihat has big cut out of it but still usable, ride and crash are still serviceable too.

hardware -- hihat clutch is wonky. cymbal stands can't be adjusted vertically. cymbals stands are prone to metal-to-metal contact with cymbals (no plastic tubing).

personal recommendation: BRING A FLOOR TOM if possible. without it, it's like using only a 3-piece kit (snare, bass, 12" tom).

bring cymbals if you need it, your own cymbal stands if you want to adjust height, cymbal protectors (yung nilalagay sa stand para walang metal-to-metal contact. forgot what they're called.). a drum throne is also good.

magnet high street

drums
gretsch catalina ash - 14" snare, 10" tom, 14" floor, 22" bass

cymbals
busted, bent, and broken zildjian planet z's

hardware
gibraltar (stock w/ gretsch catalina)

Update sa mayrics, they are now using a silver Peavey 4 pc. kit. I don't know much about the hardware, it's been a while since we've played there eh, pero nakikita ko yung changes kpag dumadaan ako sa mayrics after class. I haven't seen the hardware up close pa talaga.
