A few more practice on composition will make your pics more interesting.
Take Skin's advice on knowing the rule of thirds.
Good luck. Hope to see more photos from you.

+1 to this.

I disliked the first picture kasi sobrang centered siya. AFAIK it is a big NO NO.

I like the second pic though it's pretty dark. :)

ok ill give my shot, heres a my comment, The FIRST shot is centered, rule of thirds? maybe or maybe not, its not always rule of thirds in my opinion,  sometimes things need to be centered, remember that your subject is the flower right?  if you put lets say in the rule of thirds, how will the picture work? wala parin diba? There is NO dominance of your 1st subject, if you use the rule of thirds, by putting 1/3 of your subject, the 2/3 left should not distract the subject, kaya sabi nila simplify.  I think you have a nice set, ill pick yung rusty, This is my interpretation, sabi mo rusty kaya kailangan makita ng viewer na rusty, i exaggerate the color to emphasize more, i did color balance to separate the subject from the background, cloned minor scratches pero di ko na kinareer. i adjusted levels for more contrast, sharpened by unsharp mask (amt=300, rad=1, thres=2) <----- hindi laging ganito for the sake lang ng pic na to, ask for professionals pag sharpening kasi di din ko bihasa dito, i put vignetting to emphasize the subject, pero grabe lagay ko dito for the sake din ng pic na to. i did minor crop but i think i should have done more  .  :-D :-D :-D  For more punch, try to rotate this pic vertically, it will be an abstract and different (but still, its your picture and interpretation), ill call it THREE SIDES TO EVERY STORY! enjoy!
