play the harmonic on the 12th fret and play the open string....the notes should be the same
-
would this be for each string? or do i need to play the harmonic of the string and then play an open for the next string? Thanks bro!

hes telling you to do it on the same string both open and harmonic on 12th fret, use a tuner, same thing for the rest of tyhe strings.

am an old gitarist. never used tuner. siguro ok lang to get the right pitch for E or A. pero for manual tuning u give yourself time and practice. i employ 3 methods.
relative
harmonics to chord
chord to chord comparative.
you can use any or for best results do a combination of two or use all.
i also teach guitar to some youth bands in my area of virginia beach.
