Title: Suggest High Quality Double Pedal.

Please suggest any brand of heavy duty-high quality double pedal,
aside from TAMA IRON COBRA im very dissapointed with what happend to my pedal you can check my other thread.

but for this one can anyone give me any high quality double pedal,

im thinking to go with YAMAHA.

wala pang Gibraltar 9611DC d2 sa pinas eh.

any suggestions?

Try Pearl powershifter or Pearl Eliminator....Solid at good quality pedals.... :-D

huh? ganun lang  :?

e pano kung malaglag yung replaceable cams ng elim habang tumutugtog ka? o lumuwag yung adjustable footboard nya?

dude do some research. read. read. read. ask your fellow drummers who own a particular pedal you are interested in and then inspect, test and THINK about what you like/not like about the pedal and then COMPARE. more importantly, KNOW what you really NEED in a pedal.

you got disappointed with an IC due to a single feature e pano pa yung elim na mas maraming features kesa sa IC. there is more room for disappointment

unless you're pretty well-off and money is not an issue, then i suggest you stop, cool down and do your homework. like you said, hindi biro yung pera na pambili ng pedal

I owned a pair of ICs before (man, it really costs an arm to buy quality pedals).
I did not have major issues as with yours. What I did not like about it is its bulky hardcase. Since i do not have a car yet, carrying the pedals in its hardcase became burdensome. Another thing that I think is a soft spot in the pedal are the spring tension nuts, very prone to loose threading. i still don't know why Tama, the strongest name in drums as they claim made plastic nuts for its flagship pedal (all pedals aktly). those are my main reasons why i let my ICs go.

now, i have a pair of Pearl Eliminators. I like that it has a carrying case not as bulky as the ICs. good for the commuter. the nuts in the spring tension is made of steel. i know there are a lot of adjustments possible with the eliminator making it more prone to loosening issues. at this point though, the eliminators satisfy my requirements easy to carry and the tension nut issue resolved.

What I'm saying is be informed. check if it satisfies your requirements in the short term/ long term. compare, check, compare, check.

if money is not an issue then i would advise for the DW 9002.
i have a DW9000, and i'm satisfied with its performance.

err my post was not intended to put down the elim but the point of my post is: wag padalos dalos sa pagbili ng walang nalalaman sa bagay na bibilin. isang type lang sa google about issues ng kahit anong pedal e may mababasa ka na. nagtanong sya kung ano mabibili na iba at syempre may nag suggest pero di sapat na sabihin ___ pedal lang. you have to substantiate it with the WHY. what makes ___ pedal a good substitute?


littleniki, lahat ng tao may opinyon. no product is perfect and you have to do research to make an informed decision.

and actually while im reading this i have my friend at my back have his old pearl eliminator double pedal single chain.

and before i bought the TAMA IRON COBRA i researched it, BUT theres no forum reviewer have decoded its MECHANICAL features like PEARL has on its sites.

and sa gibraltar 9611 DC pero wala pa ang JB nun.

ganun tlga pag na-disappoint ka sa isang "brand" is una wondering why is high quality, tapos naputol bigla?

at alam ko may magagalit din saken, pero kung kayo nsa sitwasyon ko ,
d nmn pwedeng sabihin ni ganyan at ni ganito na.. "kung ako yan, ma-reresearch ako, mag blablabla"

di ko gets... akala ko pinalitan na nila ung nasira mo na IC? you still wanna get another one? Y? update mo kami pag nakabili ka na ng elims... para malaman namin if its better.

ganda kasi ng point of view ng nakatikim ng iba't ibang peds... hassle kasi minsan ung mga nagcocomment na ung peds na gamit nila ang best, while hindi pa naman nila natitikman ung ibang peds... one-sided lang. hehe

yung IC ko nsa pinsan ko ngaun, parang hiram,
pero parang arbor na hahaha..

d kc ako ganu nag bababad sa double pedal maski tanong nyu kay carlo,
kaya kong gumamit pero d ganun kagaling..

pag dna binalik yung IC saken ng pinsan ko,
try ko naman bumili ng pearl pc-2002c Eliminator,
yung changable cams.

yun yung gnagamit ni joey jordison sa mga praktis nya.

ahihi..

kung may gibraltar intruder series lng tlga sa pinas meron na dpt kami.

hindi na talaga ibabalik yun. IC ba naman. Kung ako humiram nyan dmo na ako makikita. HAHAHA! joke! Sayang ang pera bro unless madami ka japitz pero sa katulad ko na may drumkit pero kulang-kulang ang cymbals abah eh kung ako may IC eh iingatan ko maigi.

Ito, baka gusto mo itry. Gusto ko ring subukan to pero wala akong makitang available at wala rin akong kilalang meron nito and hindi ko rin naman kayang bilihin.

Yan "mukang" solid. Hindi ko lang alam kung ano ang achilles' heel nyan.
