I got a copy of John Mayer Trio album. Astig! Ang galing talaga ni John Mayer. He's very underrated since his previous efforts were pop albums.

i watched him play live a couple of years ago.. and yes he is indeed very good.. very soulful player.

he actually played electric more than acoustic when i saw him..

yup i got the orig CD from the states. favorite ko yung good love is on the way, hehe. ganda nung riff sa umpisa.

i saw the Trio recently - the band is really tight. i love the drum sound of Steve Jordan. He has a small kit but it sounds so tight with the rest of the band's groove.

i got a copy my self from a friend.
yeah, i think he's under rated as a guitar player because of his pop songs.
but he's been holding back on us all along...
(i think its crazy how he is able to play "neon" while singing.)
i was surprised how in the dvd i saw he played hendrix and srv covers as segue to a next song.
loved his bluesy solos in the past records and this album may be a little hard to dig for people who like him for "your body is a wonderland".
im glad he parked his acoustic guitar for now.

+100! pambihirang kanta yan may video ako nung performance nya sa Carson Daly show mag-isa lang sya with an acoustic guitar tapos Neon yung tinugtog nya.. grabe yun.

It's Steve Jordan on drums, not Gadd! But I have that album on my iPod, I love it to pieces.  :D

damn... that guy could play guitar!
drop C yung lower E string sa kanta na yan eh (which he slaps with the thumb)
i cheat and play it using the usual tuning, but still cant sing the damn thing at the same time.
nor can i play it as clean :-(
