balak ko sya gamitin just for garage practices so kahit hindi masyado mataas ang wattage
we play metal
as of now im considering Line6 Spider amps

The new marshall MG series aint bad. Check out the valvestates also.
I hear a lot of negative comments about the L6 spiders.

kasi yung bandmate ko puring puri nya yung line 6 spider4 nya and nirecommend nya sakin,hindi ko pa sya na try personally

Magkano budget mo sir?
try Peavey Envoy (10k+), Laney LX65(10k +), Laney CUB10(9k+), Vox Pathfinder 15R(6k+), Marshall MG30(11k-14k)
Depende din sa drummer at sa band setup baka kasi malunod ka kung mababa watts. :-D

Playing Metal for garage, the drummer will always overflow you. Minimun requirement is 65watts rms. Any amp with fx friendly and has clean response at higher volume settings, will do.

kumuha ka nalang ng malakas na amp, a minimum of 10" speaker/s tapos rely ka nalang sa pedals mo to get the metal sound. unless kun talagang afford mo yun mga "metal amp" so to say. :wink:

+1. a 10 watt tube amp would be as loud as a 100W solid state. but, you get less headroom. there it is again, headroom. :lol:

go with the Peavey..not the marshall MGs, unless it's the newer ones, but i doubt if they'll sound a lot better than the old ones. :-)

@TS.. whay are you looking for an amp that is good for metal? i mean, will you be using the drive channel of the amp or do you have any meatal distortion pedals to be used?

kaya pala pagnagooverdrive ako mas malakas pa ung clean patch kesa od patch ko, everytime i switch to one another in high volume.. 20 watts lang amp ko. i need 65 watts amp.

what?? :? :? OT na ito, but anyways, you used the word patch, so i would assume naka multieffects pedal ka. adjust the patch level para mag pantay yung level ng clean at drive patches mo.....

baka naman sinet mo na same level talaga, example 50 for the clean, 50 for the dirt patch. naturally magiging mas malakas ang isa... try mo babaan nalang yung clean patch volume.

in low volume nakaset ung clean ko na mas mahina sa OD ko, but everytime i play on stage and raise the volume of my amp, mas malakas pa ung clean ko kesa sa OD ko when i switch to one patch.

Balita sa Mortalfear? kami yung kasama nyo nung isang leg ng Muziklaban sa mayrics tapos sa Finals sa marikina.

bro try mo if ever marshall 8040 meron nagbebenta sa G.accessories for me so sound solid talaga eh and kung direct guitar/amp player ka maenjoy mo sobra yung drive and compare to other amp well kase yun palang natry o na marshall bukod sa tube.....

haha.. i know the comparison since we both own a Vox and a Marshall MG.. talo lang nung MG yung Vox pagdating sa headroom.. 12-inch speaker at 50watts versus 8-inch speaker at 15 watts.. haha..

have you tried cranking up a peavey classic 30 or (if you're insane enough) a classic 50? :-D
