What do you guys think?
-
I <3 my Ipod. I've had it for 3 years now and is the best when I go running. It was also good during my first international flight in ages. It was my music or that sorry excuse that they pipe in at the flight's "entertainment" system.
-
I thought the iPod hype just revolved around it's really unique design (& color).
But when I got my iPod Mini (blue) last year, I really understood why the iPod developed from a nice white slab of plastic that plays mp3's...into a style icon. Or something like that.
You can't really beat its user-friendly interface, portability, & convenience. Battery life isn't exceptional (as this isn't a Sony product), but it's good enough for me. About 3-4 hours of studying a night for less than week. :)
And did I forget to mention - bragging rights are included in the iPod box.
-
That's the next thing Apple should develop: iPods with longer battery life.
-
Yeah, that' right.
If the time comes that Sony would lower the price of it's mp3 players/ipod killers, & make it's user interface more friendly...Apple would go out of business.
I've never seen better battery life that Sony mp3 players. The only problem is their premium price. And did I mention the sound is great too?
-
I'm not sure what the subject means though - mp4s or iPods??
mp4 is a compressed video format. Mobile phones use 'em. The 5th Generation iPod (alternatively known as the Video iPod) uses it. An iPod is an iPod. Plays AAC, mp3, mp4, etc.
So what's with the choice?
I love iPods by the way. I have a 20GB iPod Photo and am thinking of gettiing a 60 GB 5G iPod for general use and probably a little nano for the gym. And as for accessories, I have a Logitech mm50 speaker/dock. Next thing I'm GASSing for is a Pioneer car stereo that is iPod ready, so it'll be iPod at home, car, gym, office. AHHHH!!!

I don't even listen to CDs anymore, first thing I do with a CD is rip it.
-
Sir pinoymusika, how much did you buy your Logitech mm50?
Is it comparable to the Bose Soundock or JBL OnStage? :)
-

mas mura kasi yung mga japan made tapos mataas pa memory. hehe
-

Yung cheapest yata..MX series. Less than 800 pesos. But the sound is really good! :)

still stick to my ipod shuffle. yung ipod mp4 (correct me if i'm wrong)
and the ipod mini/nano.. ang pinakamagandang sounds is the
ipod shuffle. i have red it from on line news. i have already bought
my ipod shuffle bago ko pa nalaman na mas okay pala sounds niya than
to the other ipod. for me it is very useful when i do sipra. ipod shuffle
portable mp3 player,12hours-battery-life,no need for charger,
i charge my ipod through my laptop and of course easy to use :)
by the way mine is original,i have seen some in the mall yeah
so cheap 2.7k for 512mb, i bought mine for 4.5k also 512mb.
not bad, kesa naman gamit ako ng madaling masira. :)
my two cents.

I have the chance to compare MP3 players. I used to have a 1GB muvo, ok ang sounds nya compared sa MSI na napakapangit talaga ang tunog. I can't argue with the performance of Ipod but if I were to choose, I'd still go for the better sound quality produced by Sony (hey try nyo din ang samsung!). Yung MP4 na nakalagay sa mga players is just a promotional gimik, .amv lang ang file format na kayang i-play jan. Pag pinalitan ng earphones mababago ng konti ang tunog but still cannot compete pa din sa hi-end players. Just this afternoon, nasira ko ang Lexing "mp4 kuno" ng pamangkin ko kasi nabagsak ko.. The appearance may deceive us, but performance wise, hindi ko pa din type ang sound pero kung price ang pag uusapan, ay napakamura na nyan, san ka nakakita ng 1GB for 3.5K eh parang bumili ka nyan ng flashdrive na for data storage lang ang purpose. Overall.. I think Ipod is Ipod no one beats the advertising by means of word of mouth. Ipod means prestige.. There may be better players but Ipod is Ipod. Thanks to Steve Jobs!
-
magkano??
nag search kc ko sa apple yung
shuffle $69
dito kaya sa pilipinas?
-
^8k more or less.
-
May MP4 ako.. nabili ko cia ng almost 5K
-
the only problem with mp4's is their internal memory. the maximum memory for mp4 available on the market is 1G only. sa sound naman, it depends on the earphones. i already tried using ipod earphone on generic mp4 and the sound is super. depende rin kasi sa bit rate ng music file yung sound quality.
madami features ang generic mp4 na di kaya ng ipod like videos, sound recording, fm, and mas universal ang format the music files ng mp4 unlike sa ipod na kailangan pa i-convert sa itunes. kung may 30G lang sana na generic mp4.....
