There are users and die-hard fans for each type of Fender amp, including the Blues Junior and Pro Junior. Dami kang mapupulot doon. Kaya lang if you join the forum, baka may kantyaw na mag contribute ka... kaya basa basa ka na lang...

ricky!  kmusta? bibili ka ba nyan?

ung Pro Jr is actually based on early tweed amp (eg, Fender Harvard) designs.  the signal path is more purely tube than BJ.  it sounds good pero tunog maliit talaga due to the small 10" spkr and small cabinet.

ung BJ is more of a modern design even tho tweed amp ang branding ng Fender dyan.  it is LOUD but also often boxy or ngo-ngo.  may mods naman for that.  

you usually mic a blues harp amp anyway so i'd go w/ a Proj Jr. in case may Blues Jr dyan na mura, bilin mo tas uwi mo sa akin. :-)

@Deltaslim: PM'd you about the blues junior.

Baka nga Pro Junior para sa harp. Nabasa ko sa isang forum na feedback monster daw ang BJ kung i-mic mo ng bullet or some other dynamic mic.

Kung sa guitar mukhang OK ang BJ kasi my reverb tsaka mas malaki nga ang speaker. Pero me narinig ako na dahil hindi hand wired, naluluto daw yung circuit board to the point na me nahuhulog.

Just tried the Pro Junior and the Blues Junior this afternoon. Its true that the BJ is a feeback monster for mic'd harps. Lalo na yung vintage mics. Sa tingin ko mas ok sa harp ang PJ. Tsaka ma mura sya by almost PHP 6K kaysa BJ. Pero kung guitar ang main axe mo malamang BJ ang mas OK.

i got my blues jr from a harp player. i absolutely love it!  :-) for me, the bj is better for guitar. never tried the pj so cannot comment on it.

my bj was set up with 3 different preamp tubes (ecc81, ecc82, & ecc83 - all from jj) when i got it. i put the orig 12ax7's back in. i prefered the jj's. not as gainy & in your face as the 3 12ax7's but much warmer (a more lenny-like tone).
i just don't remember which tube was in which socket before.
oh well, i guess i'll just experiment & see what happens.  :-)
