Dear Veteran Musicians and Sound-techs
How do you use an Effects Loop of an Amp? Can i use effects from a smaller amp and use the delay from it into a bigger amps fx loop?
- Fx loop arrangement and reason for it

Fx loops simply puts your preamp signal path before your effects. It is a good way to change the tonality of your amp. Modulation/eq effects are usually plugged in the fx loop

I don't think you can use another amp's built-in effects in the effects loop (ie. effects ng Line 6 Spider into some other amp's loop).

Analog or digital. Doesnt matter

I use my M9 on the Fx loop. So I can use its delays and modulations after the amps dirt channel.

Think of it this way. You have a distortion pedal. You have a speaker. The fx loop is between them. Anything with an In & Out, you can put it between them. Now you said you want to put an amp with delay inside an fx loop. Does the amp has an out? Headphones out, could be. But even if it's possible, it defeats the purpose of having pedals.

In order to use your amps effects to another amps fx loop, you will have to be plugged into both amp inputs which sounds ridiculous
