omigosh..
panu ko kaya ma-aagapan to?
and panu mapupuksa tong kalawang na to..
buhay ko mabili lang tong gitarang to,
tas kakalawangin lang.. :-(
-
Ur sweat mite be acidic thats causing the rust.
-
clean it before and after use.
oil it up (personally using baby oil which is basically mineral oil)
keep in case always (preferred hard shell case)
or you can remove the rusted parts, clean it with WD40, leave it to dry and put it on again.
-
-
baby oil on cloth and wipe on rusting parts.
wd40 is safe on all metal parts. be sure to remove the part first for it is not safe on wood(specially with nitrocellulose finish)
-
Look for Martney. He may have an answer to to your rust problem.
-
WD40 after mo gamitin gitara mo
-
Sweaty ba hands mo? This is the same problem my friend has. He's obliged to change his strings every 2 months I think. Kasi no matter how much you clean your guitar and your sweat goes into the strings, it will be the start of the rust spots on your guitar hardware.
-
WD40 after mo gamitin gitara mo
No no no no no!!!
-
No no no no no!!!
:-D

@TS I think you better change your title to Guitar Rust Free Maintenance.
If you want to maintain and keep rust, you can retain the title

Zzzz

I dont know about using it on the fretboard. I know its not recommended.
-
-
rust proofing has been available for a long a time pero guitar and guitar parts manufacturers as never applied it for some reason..kahit sa mga tornilyo man lang..compared to a car konti lang naman ang dapat i rust proof sa guitara....ciguro i guess we just have to live with it..
-
Sabi ko no no no no no sa wd40 e. It destroys your finish and your wood.
-
-
D kasi nakikinig. Hehehe.
-
sir i also have a sweaty hands
here is my advice
for guitar screws. i paint it with clear nail polish
for the strings. always lubricate it with GHS Fastfret
kapag di nagagamit yung guitar dapat linisin sya every other day,
crap.. lessons learned..
sige sir, t-try ko yung tip mo..
and also sa nail polish thing.. haha
