Ang bagal. 280kbps lang download speed. I was expecting at least 1mbps.

What did they say was the maximum speed?

Take note: 1 Mbps (megabit per second) is roughly equal to 200 KBps (kilobyte per second).

There's a big difference between Mb (megabit) and MB (megabyte). Most service providers now advertise their speeds in the megabit unit, and most people don't realize that there's a difference.
