BATTLE OF THE BANDS 2012

1.There will be fifteen (15) eliminations and five (5) semi-finals
   Month 1
      Eliminations – March 06, 13 and 20
      Semi-Finals – March 27, 2012
   Month 2
      Eliminations – April 03, 10 and 17
      Semi-Finals – April 24, 2012
   Month 3
      Eliminations – May 01, 08 and 15
      Semi-Finals – May 22, 2012
   Month 4
      Eliminations – June 05, 12 and 19
      Semi-Finals – June 26, 2012
   Month 5
      Eliminations – July 03, 10 and 17
      Semi-Finals – July 24, 2012
2.Bands will perform 2 original songs and 1 cover song
3.In the eliminations, two (2) bands will be chosen to advance in the semi-finals
4.In the semi-finals, one (1) band will be chosen to advance in the finals
5.Finals will be on August 21, 2012
6.There will be a registration fee of p500 per band
   All participating bands will register only in Freedom Bar
   All participating bands must register at least two (2) weeks before the date of the event
   A band can only join twice in the battle of the bands
   Maximum of ten (10) bands per eliminations

Criteria for Judging

1.Performance                      20%
2.Quality                              20%
3.Originality                         20%
4.Stage Presence                20%
5.Audience Impact               20%
                               Total = 100%

Prizes

Eliminations

1.Both winners will receive p1,000 in cash

Semi-Finals

1.Winners will receive p2,000 in cash

Finals

1.First Place winner will receive p10,000 in cash, a plaque and 1 case of beer
2.Second Place winner will receive p5,000 in cash and a plaque
3.Third Place winner will receive p3,000 in cash and a plaque
4.Fourth Place winner will receive p1,000 in cash
5.Fifth Place winner will receive p1,000 in cash
