since when did creative have the edge? credit to creative for starting it all and apple have shown this by paying them off recently but nonetheless ipod rules, Zune is a threat indeed. we shall see. check out the wireless earphones of zune! 8)

I'm an iPod user myself - but sometimes I wish it had WMA and WMV support, could play AVI and DIVX videos, etc.

you're right on that 1 sir! that's the problem with ipods, you still need to conver the files to itunes. you cant just drag-and-drop the music files directly on the ipod. that's the downside with ipod

Meron dun sa nilagay na link ni Dindin, may comparison din between Ipod and Zune.. Nov. 14 poa available sa market pero naka-advertise na sa amazon, US$249.00 di kasama accesories. Malamang pag dating dito nun, mga less than 20K un.. Mas maganda mangyayari, mapipilitang magbaba ng price ang Ipod.. ayus! Iba talaga nagagawa ng competition..

i thought this was a cool gadget too, but from what ive heard,
the wifi is limited to music sites wherein you have to PAY to download the songs.
you cant really surf the net with it.

I got one just a while a go, parang mahirap sa una, i didn't explore it yet. pero mukhang maganda kaso if you're not a fan of wmv and wma files, you have to convert them like i do.

I dunno about the details nito kasi i was expecting an iPod Vid na around 40-60 Gb. Pero eto binigay so di ako masyado nakapag research.
Pero mas user friendly sya kesa sa ipod. yun nga lang, kelangan sanayin mo muna sarili mo kung galing ka na ng iPod technology. Lol....

I p4wn3d all iPod owners dito sa amin nung nakita nila Zune ko....
Besides from its reliability, mas matagal ang battery time nya kasi sa iPod, 1 movie lang pwede mo panoorin, sa Zune, 2 na, may tira pa. And take note, this is the best part. You can save hard disk space sa Zune kasi hindi tulad ng iPod, when you erase the files in your computer loaded in your player, nawawala sya sa iPod, sa Zune hindi.
I think my uncle said this was around $200. Pero 30 Gb pa lang ito. Meron rin daw 80 Gb na katapat ito....

sorry man, you're mistaken there. whatever you put in your iPod, stays in your iPod; if you edit the file in your iPod (via iTunes), it won't affect the same file in the PC (in iTunes Library).
you can even EXTRACT mp3s from your iPod, contrary to what others say.
beware lang sa Creative products, i've heard some complains about its life expectancy, and i'm not talking about the battery.

ang argument mo eh whether or not mapapanuod mo ang Wowowee sa 25" flat screen TV ng mas magandang quality kaysa sa 15" TV; in totality, it doesn't matter, kasi they're only tools.
kung sira ang reception ng ABS-CBN, kahit gaano pa kaganda yang TV mo eh hindi mo pa din mapapanuod. :)
going back to the context, it doesn't matter if ang player mo is a china-made mp3/mp4 player or a $400 iPod Touch, basta ang mp3s eh nasa 320kbps bitrate, and you're using good QUALITY Head/Earphones, parehas lang yan.
on the other hand, kahit naka Zune ka pa, kung ang mp3s na pinapakinggan mo eh 64kbps bitrate lang, it will still suck.
mp3 players are only tools; mas "cool" ka lang if you own iPod Classics or Microsoft Zunes, kasi they look much more techie than their made-in-china counterparts, and because they can play videos (and ofcourse what you're investing in is quality of service in either warranty or repair, so they costs so much more)

and difference lang eh sa features.
meron akong dalawang sound cards; isang built-in sa motherboard, isang external Creative, at ginagamit ko yung external dahil mas accessible siya for head/earphones, may volume control at may mute. hindi ko siya ginagamit dahil mas maganda ang tunog niya, dahil parehas lang yun.
FYI naka-gamit na ako ng latest generation ng iPod Classic 80gb, 16gb iPod Touch, at yung iPod Nano with vids.

i think sir ang nadagdag lang na features ng zune 80 ay ung touch pad at larger screen...(ata) tpos ung UI same lang dn sa zune 30.. pero sa zune 80 walang EQ. sa zune 30 meron :) un ang mga nabasa ko sa net hehe.
waaaaah. magkakaron dn ako niang zune 80. pagnawala ulet ang zune 30 ko (sheeet.. wag sana ndi mawala ulet.ahahah)

My Zune is one of my precious things i don't forget when i leave the house, while outside or going home along with my mobile phone and wedding ring.

ang alam ko sir walang charger na pang zune tlga, i mean ung zune na wall charger tlga.
so bumili ako ng iba. hekhek.. ung ipod charger set ng cd-r king.. ung may usb slot na wall charger.. okay nman xa un ang gamit ko ngaun. 180 pesos un. ung may kasamang car charger at sync cable ng ipod. :D

actually may charger din ako ng ipod shuffle yung USB kaso diskumpyado ako kasi 3 mA yung charger tapos 5 mA yung Zune, di sya match kaso pareho lang kHz nya. baka masira la na ako pambili.

Isa ako sa mga Zune owners (regalo ni Mrs sa akin nung bday ko). I am actually very satisfied with it and I ended up giving my Ipod nano to my son. Pero ayoko ring mag charge ng battery sa PC.
What is the alternative in the absense of a Zune wall charger (mukhang wala rin akong makita, correct me if I'm wrong) - OK ba yung charger nga ng Ipod nano?

Isa ako sa mga Zune owners (regalo ni Mrs sa akin nung bday ko). I am actually very satisfied with it and I ended up giving my Ipod nano to my son. Pero ayoko ring mag charge ng battery sa PC.
What is the alternative in the absense of a Zune wall charger (mukhang wala rin akong makita, correct me if I'm wrong) - OK ba yung charger nga ng Ipod nano?

ang pagkakaalam ko sir.. kahit anong wall charger ay okay lang basta ung mga khz blah blah na nakasulat sa zune ay compatible sa bibilin mong charger..
meron dn akong nabasa sa forum ng zune.. eh gumawa xa ng sarili niang wallcharger... pinutol nia ung wire ng charger ng motorola at kinabil sa sync cable ng zune..
pero try nio na lang dn ung ibang wall charger, tulad nung ipod charger set ng cd-r king (180php) or ung sa greenhills na mukhang pasquare (nasa 400 -500php)... ung cd-r king okay skn.. un gamit ko pati kklase ko.. pati ung ibang zune users sa tipidpc.. dun ko din nalaman un eh. sa ibang zune users :)

My wife's co-vocalist currently owns an 80Gb and it's with me right now. Wala nga equalizer and if only my software's not going crazy and pisses me off, i'd give a review of the 80Gb, medyo mas manipis sya dahil walang glass casing, much slicker though kasi flat black ang kulay nya and mas astig ko yung navi pad nya kesa sa 30 Gb which i own. About the headphone isolators, da best talaga.

Good choice din yan p're. But if youneed a bigger screen and no hassle net surfing, banking and other stuff. hehehe. Take the later Ipod touch for a test drive. My friend had the Zune which was quite impressive but lacking what i need. The Zune is less expensive which is very good and may also explain why it is more common.

What's funnier is Macintosh constantly upgrading it's iPod just to bring back sales lost from Zune. That's why Zune is called "The iPod Killer".
Kung maalis ng Microsoft ang restrictions nila and allow Zune to be sold internationally, mas lalo nya papatayin ang iPod.
Comment ko lang sa iPhone and iTouch, kasi yung isang friend ko naka-iPhone, living a young adult's life is a stressful one, lalo na sa mga things na asa bulsa. Kawawa ang mga gadgets sa bulsa or bag na touch screen dahil malaki ang possibility nito na magasgas. and sa buhay ngayon na maraming snatcher, you want a great gadget na mako-control mo habang nakabulsa. My Zune 30 does that job perfectly....

MS had a boo boo.
Z2k as they call it had an effect on ALL 30 Gb Zunes last new year, and some didn't recover.
But MS says they are going to release a new model. Hayz.
Anyways, updates lang. May games na available for Zune, right now 5 na ang i-update nya. Sodoku, Texas Poker, Space Battle, Checkers, and Hex...something LOL.
and matagal na pala narelease Zune 120. I hope it's better than the 80 Gb dahil fuked up ang 80 Gb. I'm still going for my 30 Gb. It never failed me. Not ONE bit. LOL

pinadala ko sa kklase ko sa us pero hindi napaayos..
restart lang ng restart dati eh.
ngaun sinubukan buksan ulet ng kklase ko.. sbe nia.. bumubukas na daw pero pag nakasaksak.. so pag tinanggal.. after 15 secs. dead. aun san kaya pwede ipaayos to/.
