Nasubukan ko sa Guitar Center kanina yang LP Special in Pellham Blue.
Ewan ko sa inyo, pero gusto ko yung flattop LPs! Ang snappy nung midrange response niya while retaining yung classic LP tone imo (through an Egnater combo).
Highly recommended kung maa-afford!

hehe ayun! ok na bro hehe kasi nung hinanap ko locations, layo talaga, para sa mga taga Metro, FARview na punta :lol: parang sinabing for sure buyers only :lol: pero para sa Gibson, mahirap nga talagang malaspag sa kaka try lang haha saka nung naitabi sa mga Epiphones? lalo na't MIC at maraming peke ang lumalabas.

nag email din ako sa kanila asking bakit mura yung ibang guitars like the G-400 Pro. Sabi nung agent kasi depende daw yung prices nila sa exchange rate. Pag nakuha nila ng mura, mura nila ibebenta. Ok din.

i was at your newly opened chops at Robinson's Maglnolia last monday. your staff was very welcoming. kahit na i was wearing "pambahay", and kahit na alam nilang di pa ako bibili, they still offered me to try one of their hollow-bodied guitar na Gibson (di ko alam anung model dahil sa sobrang excited ko). it was a very nice experience...thank you mga boss!

Ayos! May official distributor na pala ng Epiphones d2 sa pinas! Kung meron na sana nyan nung 2009, sana Epiphone Les Paul na lang binili ko... Nung chineck ko kc site ng epiphone dati, wala pa e.. purchased last week a gibson lp honeyburst tribute for a friend at cresendo sm fairview after coming from magnolia because the stock was there. Great customer relations/service on both stores,very acomodating specially when you want to test the item.wish though that the tribute came with a hardcase instead of the padded one and a free cable perhaps.but all in all am satisfied with their service!:)

hi. i just bought an epiphone sg g400 pro last 8/29/12. i only used the guitar <5 times due to my busy schedule as a post graduate medical intern. upon restringing my guitar, i noticed that the 5th (b string) tuning peg was broken/defective. upon purchase, i just noticed it to be tight so i didnt bother since it was new. would it be possible to get a replacement guitar since the guitar shud have been defect free when i purchased it. its impossible to notice this factory defect upon purchase not unless i immediately changed the strings when i bought the guitar. i already sent the guitar to rob magnolia wid the receipt yesterday and the staff there agrees dat it was a factory defect. thanks

Was at Crescendo Magnolia last saturday with a friend. Brought my Epi 59 335 just to look for a hardcase or gigbag. Sadly they don't have any for a 335. What was unexpected though was Janno invited us in the aquarium (haha) to try the Gibsons, and have a little chat too. That is rare for sales guys nowadays cos most of them will just ignore you - not with crescendo I guess. Let me add to countless people that say that they do have really great customer support. So I gave the Gibson LP 60s P90s Tribute a try and also the ever tasty SG Standard. I'd want to give some first impressions for the guitars pero saka na pag nasakin na hahaha. I came there for just a gigbag and got to experience even more. Certainly I'll be back there sometime to do some swiping. hahaha. Thank you Janno igniting my gas once again. hehe.

We first went there last Saturday to check it out and Jasper was very helpful, patient and attentive. He let my son try out the guitar with no condition nor hesitation for as long as needed. Always beside us and ready with sensible answers.
We went back to Crescendo last night and finalized the deal at a discounted price. :)

There are threads that a mod can decide for himself (like the threads I move). It's never dependent on who the starters are. Please don't insinuate that. Mods get threatened (minsan nag-aalmusal kami ng death threat). Wag ng dagdagan pa ng mga pasaring. If you have a beef with a mod, report them to Prime Mods. Prime Mods can act upon it. Or you can report it to the site owner (Jim).
As for threads like this one, voting is needed because of the decision's greater effect. Buong forum at hindi lang GC ang maaapektuhan.

no. that was my call. i have my opinions on what i should with this, but i would like to be fair, so i would like to consult the other mods on this. you'd like it if i was fair and not get personal feelings involved, right? :)
as you see, this thread is unique because it is a store type thread, which hasnt been addressed in the past. a store type thread sells things, yet it changes inventory regularly, plus it makes itself open for a lot of inquiries.
it doesnt currently fit into the Classifieds, because allowing it only one "up" per day, and not allowing inquiries makes it very difficult or just plain impossible.
it also currently does not fit into Guitars subforum because, it is selling. a store doesnt post pictures of guitars to make people happy or share knowledge. they do it for marketing. they are a business after all.
measures are being done to make all parties happy, please be patient.

mods, for reference please check on the pinoydvd.com forum. they have a dedicated section for vendors with storefronts, separate from the main classifieds. it may give you some ideas.

IMO a thread where inquiries are allowed is good, provided all sellers are treated equally.

yep. good idea. some gear forums have a dedicated "trusted vendors" sub-forum. but selling is not allowed. you can inquire about prices via pm.
The challenge would be on how to define what is a trusted vendor. Philmusic grew with the support of small players, not music stores. It would be unfair to give music stores special benefits. Unless Jim starts charging fees for trusted vendors, I firmly believe that any decision should apply to any seller.
BTW I like the idea of Jim charging music stores. It's about time he makes some money out of Philmusic :-)

Marketing because they are able to market their products, and support because they are able to offer pre-sales and after sales support. Sorry, I am not specifically referring to crescendo, but to any music store that has its own thread. Also, as long as questions from buyers are entertained, that is after sales support.
If the objective is just for promo and new arrivals, then the classified ads were made for that.

OK guys, the verdict is in!
all classifieds related post will be in the classifieds section ... there is no special ruling about big stores yet, having said, they have to abide by classified rules and regulations.
so i am sorry to the fans and store owners, but stuff like this will not be allowed in the GC section anymore.
now, i am thinking of moving this thread, but it has too much messages and stuff. having said that, i guess Cresendo has to make a new ad ... this time with specific items for sale, not just pictures, without prices, as i wont hesitate to lock threads that promote chatting in the classifieds.
anyway, this thread will soon be locked and moved to archives... but before that, i will keep this open for any final comments, or stuff that needs to be backed up, etc.
and to other forumers, if you detect a thread that is a "classifieds ad in disguise as a discussion topic" do not hesitate to use the "Report Mod" button, and it will be dealt with accordingly.
