Title: Assassin's Creed 3

Big fan of the series.
So the gameplay trailer's out:

American Revolution setting. Interesting direction for the series.
Samurai-era Japan would've been cooler though. :)
Thoughts?

Got bored from the last one. It's the only episode that I didn't have a second play through.
About this installment, I'm impressed how they have new things in it, not just the storyline. ;) As for the Samurai-era Japan, there had been speculations that it would be the setting of the next (AC3), if you would watch AC: Embers. But it turns out, it's not. Well I saw this one coming. Civil war era is one of the settings I've thought, along with a Russian setting and a Pre/Post WW2 Japan.

About this installment, I'm impressed how they have new things in it, not just the storyline. ;) As for the Samurai-era Japan, there had been speculations that it would be the setting of the next (AC3), if you would watch AC: Embers. Chinese yung girl assassin sa AC: Embers. But yeah, I wanted AC3 to be set in Feudal Japan as well.

Was that Revelations? I still have to play it, para di ako mawala sa story. I got sidetracked by Skyrim/MW3 eh. haha did like the first 3 though.

Followed the game, the AC universe, and everything related from AC1! Panalo talaga ' to.
--------MINOR SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T PLAYED REVELATIONS---------
I find myself VERY interested to continue Desmond's story line. The latest DLC for Revelations (The Lost Archive) revealed Lucy Stillman's true allegiance - to the Templars. Exciting kung anong balak gawin ng Ubisoft tungkol doon. :-D

Would have wanted the new assassin to be from Japan as well... Pero mukhang promising din naman si Connor Kenway.

If it's going Hollywood there's always a possibility, remember the Resident Evil Movies? :wink:
They based it on the game franchise but they sure fu**ed up the whole plot & story... :-(
I've played & finished all the games and sadly all the movies just looking for a connection... :oops:
Meron talagang chansa na they'll mess up. Buti pa talaga Ubisoft ang gumawa ng animated film. Ganun nga rin pananaw ko sa Mass Effect, balak rin daw kasi nila gawan ng live action film. I'd say, CGI nalang!

Oo nga noh. ganyan pa din kaya mukha ni Desmond sa AC3? dapat binabayaran si Franco ng Ubisoft sa pagamit ng mukha nya. :-D
oo ganyan parin muka ni desmond tol, since magkakasunod lang yung mga pangyayari from AC1 to AC2:Rev.

Shocks, may bago akong naisip.
WARNING AC: BROTHERHOOD ENDING ANG NASA BABA!
Nung una kong playthrough for AC: Brotherhood, nagtaka ako sa ending, kasi masyado akong na-hype. Di ko masyadong naintindihan kung bakit pinatay ni Desmond si Lucy. Sabi ko "sheet, bakit? :(".
Napanood ko ulit yung video nung huling scene sa Brotherhood.
Eto yung scene with Juno controlling Desmond:
"There is one who would accompany you through the gate. SHE lies not within our sight. The CROSS darkens the horizon."
*Desmond stabs Lucy*
"It its done. The way lies all before you. Only SHE remains to be found. Awaken the sixth. Go. ALONE!"

And here are my insights.
Lucy is a friggin templar all along. Somehow Juno and the other "holograph characters" know it. She was the CROSS (Templar symbol). Hindi lang matanggap ni Desmond na patayin si Lucy dahil may love interest din sya kay Lucy. Baka sa susunod na AC, magkakaroon ulit ng bagong female character along with Desmond. I wonder kung sino iyon.
At siguro, sa susunod na AC, mas marami nang scenes with Desmond (as an Assassin) Kasi gusto ni Juno ipabukas yung "sixth" sense, which is, yung eagle vision.
Nagtataka lang ako, may binanggit na sasama daw magbukas ng "gate", pero sinabi, "Go. Alone." Why?

pagkakaalam ko descendant si lucy ni Lucrecia borgia
Bale kase Assassin talaga sya, kaya lang, parang nagiba timpla, parang ganun, tapos sumapi nalang sya sa Templars, kasi tingin nya mali yung Assassins, nakalimutan ko na yung explanation. Akala nga ni Subject 16, sasagipin sya gaya ng kay Desmond. Hindi pala, kaya sya nagpakamatay.

Assassin talaga si Lucy nung binigyan sya ng assignment na magmanman sa abstergo nagbago isip nya dahil kay Vidic kaya ang tunay na allegiance nya ay sa Templar. Parang ung nangyari kay Daniel Cross.
Ung tinutukoy na may makakasama daw sya sa temple pro you must go alone. baka ancestors nya un, kasama nya sa isipan nya. :)
