my Samsung Galaxy Y which also has the Gorilla glass accidentally fell from my hand last week and dropped screen first to the cement floor. I picked it up and not a single scratch was found.  :-D

same thing happened to my brother's friend when they went to the beach last weekend. his iphone fell accidentally from the table about 3-4 feet from the ground and a big crack is visible across the screen and may dead pixels pa.

had to remove the matte screen protector on my phone para maappreciate ko yung brightness at clarity ng screen. mine was installed with 1st gen gorilla glass. 5 months and still no scratches.
