-
Tingin ko dito mo dapat pinost tanong mo
http://talk.philmusic.com/index.php?topic=235914.2150 :-D
Pero sasagot na ko, Behringer GDI21, Box of Amp ng Apex or ung kay Subzero (nakalimutan ko na yung name ng clone nya nun.) :-D
-
IIRC ang custom GT2 copy ay halos kapresyo na din ng 2nd hand GT2, better go with the GDI21. Don't know the downside with that tho.

i have this and i prefer this over the gt2. somebody is selling one like this in our classifieds for 5k. sounds better than the original gt2 pedal. more gain on tap too. 30% smaller than a gt2 case.
Or if you want one with a boost and a dedicated mid knob
GNI AS-1

Not sure. But, this thing costs about RMB850 - RMB1000 in China. At most, total landed cost here in Manila would go probably about P8,000. I should have brought at least one for myself back then when my contact in Shenzen still had his business there and gets me cheaper Epiphones whenever i needed one for myself or for resale (still at cheaper cost compared here in Manila).

Hummy daw.
Even the original Sans Amp GT-2 is hummy. Years ago, I owned a Behringer GDI21 and GT-2, compared them side by side and they're virtually identical, even the "hum". There maybe a slight tone suck on the GDI, but it's negligible, unless your audience has bionic ears like most tone/boutique snobs here in the forums. :-)
BTW, I sold my GT-2 (used the money for pickups instead hehe) and used my GDI21 on countless gigs w/ no complaints, didn't really feel a difference.
If you want more than a GT-2, then follow Bolt Thrower's advice and use a DistStation.
If you're a bargain hunter a.k.a "kuripot" (like me, hehe) w/c believes tone is in the fingers and has a strong make-do/DIY attitude, then go fo the GDI21.
-
^the GDI21 is good, man. It has more gain on tap than the gt2. Kaya yung iba sinasabi ang ingay niya. kasi 10 oclock palang malakas na gain. They key to taming the hum ng GDI21 is getting a good powersupply.
-
Okay din na OD yung GDI, i tried na ipang tulak sya sa Metal Muff ko. Okay na okay but unfortunately I sold it dahil wala kong pera that time. Hahaha bibili nalang siguro ako ulit :-D

Kaya nga sir, pero sobrang kaka-GAS yung mga pinost nio sir lalo na yung GNI amp simulator at Palmer.. Salamat sa pag-share sir.. :-D
