Me, being amp-less killed my GAS(for now) from pedals to guitars.

A/V equipments \m/ currently, im in the process of setting up my mini home theater :) kaka adik din pala mga gamit at dami ko pang "gas" on the list... So far im really enjoying it lalo na when it comes to listening music... pag walang gig after work, sa bahay lang ako sa couch listening to music. Ibang iba makinig sa music with these equipment lalo na when watching movies... Kaya eto, pass muna sa guitar gas...

My DIY custom pedals killed my GAS,I can do whatever i want except some delays and reverbs.dirt pedals lang naman pinaka magastos at nakaka GAS kadalasan.

I was always gassing for guitars before in my quest to find the tone that's in my head. GAS was killed when I decided to have a custom guitar made by our local luthier and it was crap. That stopped my GAS with guitars.
For pedals, nothing much. an overdrive, distortion and a delay would suffice me.
For amp, it was until I had a 12 inch speaker amp that gave justification to my guitar and stomp's tone. My first amp was a small Boston M6 which was so thin and squishy sounding amp.
I started offering guitar wiring and modification in our locality. With that, I have the chance to feel, test, and enjoy someone elses' guitar I get to repair or modify it. Nag-enjoy na ako, na test ko pa, and pinaka higit sa lahat, libre pa. The only way to test fully the guitar is to buy it. Now, in my case, it's free!

Impending car service tune up. Mahal talaga pag casa but you get better resale value in return if you have the casa records by the time you sell the car. :wink:

but seriously..if you find a really good/versatile/reliable guitar, your essential pedals(wah/dirt/chorus/delay), and your preferred amp...your GAS will definitely be lessen...as you would have what you actually need to cover your basics...the others are merely..."wants"... :mrgreen:

a recent stream of regular gigs.
which made me realize i already have what i need to enjoy:
- i never bring an amp anyway (so i dont really need a bigger one yet),
- i only use 1 pedal (its either an od3 or rat, so i dont need any frou-frou boutique flavor of the week stomper),
- i do enjoy using the les pauls almost as much as the teles (so i dont have to sell those really :-o )

i have to say.. this is the most accurate one.. haha my guitar gassing has died over a year now..though im eyeing on some pedals.. but it revives itself on some other.. oakley x-metal sunglasses :mrgreen: heheh

I'm actually planning to buy another 7 string na puwedeng laspagin sa studio/home practice. I really want to preserve my Ibanez RG7321 so I was thinking of buying the new GRG7221 or Dean Vendetta or the RJ Shredder or any affordable 7 string guitar under 8k nung nalaman kong mali pala ang size ng mountain bike na binili ko last year at bigla akong nainggit sa mga nagagandahang bikes na nakikita ko tuwing may bike ride ako every early Saturday morning. That's what I call "rookie mistake" dahil sa beginner pa naman ako and I'm new to the world of mountain biking. So tigil muna ako sa GAS ng lahat ng musical instruments and accessories although the only accessory I need is a Nady UHF wireless setup and the Vox metal amplug and tigil na rin muna ng GAS sa mountain biking kaya con-todo tipid ako ngayon to get myself a new bike sana before July of this year. Wish ko lang na andun pa sa bike store yung natipuhan kong bike by the time I have enough dough to score it.

My pedal gas had been killed by my Vox Tonelab ST. I could dial in pretty good tones with this unit. :-D

the fact that i have everything i need and a lot of what i want ... and realizing the stuff i am gas-sing now are beyond gratuitous lol
still, i want another qsc k12, a back up guitar amp, and a Gibson/Orville Thunderbird. i just cant seem to justify spending for them now

Recently, my new guitar. An Ibanez RG1570 prestige. I don't know .. but I just feel like na "wala na yata kong hahanapin pa sa isang superstrat." In terms of sound and playability ah, syempre iba pa din pag 100% din sa preference mo yung color and look. :-D

I was gassing for a maple tele before he was born. Well, I still am, not for myself though but for my baby so when he grows up, alam na nya feeling ng GAS! :lol:
Mag cloth diaper na lang para tipid. Yun in-demand ngayon e :D

I was totally gassing for a Marshall amp and was really ready to get a particular JMP from a forumer. Unfortunately I had no time to check it out last week. I was too busy holding my new baby girl in my arms. I just couldn't help it, I was beside her most of the time during the vacation.
Now I'm back abroad (bummer). She's killed my GAS.
Temporarily I hope, I think I still want that Marshall hehe. :)

That's what I thought pero Ibanez kasi guitar ko, at parang masgusto kong ipamana sa kanya is a strat or a tele. So one option that I have is to sell my RG tapos bili siguro ng cheap US strat or tele tapos yun ipamana ko sa kanya kung hindi totally mangangailangan ng pera

I recently had a bowteek amp GAS attack, muntik ako magdivert ng funds para makuha haha. Pero nung tiningnan ko mga pwede bawasin sa gamit ko, at nagtotal sa worth ng amp, bumaba yung GAS attack. So, hintay hintay na lang muna makabenta bago bumili ulit.
Stomach gas lang pala. Buti lumipas.
