Title: Apogee JAM question?

I was wondering if it is possible to connect your guitar effects thru an apogee jam to a garageband. Has anyone tried this before?

Guitar > guitar efx > Apogee JAM > Laptop or Guitar > Apogee JAM > Guitar efx > Laptop?
