try mo sabayan na lang yung mga kanta na gusto, be it cd o mp3. play along cd usually kasama sa mga instructional books, pero syempre hindi lahat ng gusto mong kanta andun. pag nagpapapalo ka naman na hindi mo na maririnig yung drums.

*yung rhythm magazine may kasamang CD which contains tips, exercises etc. meron ding 2 kanta na merong drums and walang drums na you can play along with (plus drum tabs nung 2 kanta). tapos meron ding 2 bassline lang na pwede mo sabayan.

you can download MIDI files from the net but you should have your music software para ma-i-minus-one mo yung any instrument na gusto mo alisin.  Kaya lang, hindi sya tunog professional na tulad ng naririnig mo sa CD's, tunog laruang keyboard na prinogram.  Pwede na pang practice practice lang and you can choose songs you want to play along, Pop, rock, alternative, jazz, etc.  There are some MIDI files na maganda tunog.

Vol 1 and 2 yung sa amin. Ayos siya. Ang daming styles to play along with.
Kailangan mo lang ng huge speakes so when you play along with it, hindi mo nalalamang sa lakas yung CD.
And you'll be forced to learn new styles kasi after a month or so of playing along with the rock tunes, you'll get bored so you'll have to try other styles like bossa nova, samba, jazz, etc.

I just used them to practice my timing and hopefully juice out some creativity.

Anong style ng music ba hanap mo? Meron akong Groove Essentials ni Tommy Igoe.Play along CD & book with drum notations.
Rock,Hiphop,R&B,Funk,Jazz at World Music ang mga genre.Around 44+ ata yung mga songs sa cd.
Pwede ko ibenta nlang syo,pero same sa original price nung binili ko sya sa HK (Hirap magdala pauwi, ha!) mag ready ka ng mga 2.5Kphp kung gusto mo(I'll check the price later)

question lang po.. may nakagamit na po ba ng ganito? hindi ko po kasi ma-imagine paano matatanggal ung drum, vocals and other instruments kung hindi available ung individual instrument tracks para i-subract dun sa kanta eh.. Kung sa frequency sya mag-dedepend (meaning, tatanggalin nya lang yung frequencies na related sa isang instrument, may possibility na mawala din ung ibang "instruments".

I believe same principle lang ito ng MIDI files and I think this device actually uses MIDI files.  Ito yung mga karaoke system, A midi file has virtual  tracks of each instrument kaya pwede matanggal ang any instrument na gusto mo.  Bakit hindi ka na lang nga mag download ng MIDI files? its FREE! (go to the website shown above)  Unless wala kang PC that's why you became interested sa CD player.

dun sa MIDI files...pwede yun! tanggalin mo lang yung drum track and voila!!

yung kay sandythedrummer ganun din yung gamit niya sa pinoydrums christmas EB nung tumutugtog siya...midi version ng erotomania kaya walang drums  :-)

kung MIDI, I believe pwede pero kung straight audio CD track/mp3, I'm not sure kung pwede mo tanggalin ung drums or guitar part or vocalspart na gusto mo unless meron kang original na "individual tracks" ng drums, guitars etc.. then yun ang isusubtract mo dun sa full song.

Kung pwede tanggalin ang individual instruments mula sa audio CD (or mp3/ogg/etc/non-MIDI), would appreciate someone showing me how :-) Matagal ko nang gusto gawin to pero I can't seem to do it.

Wala pa ako alam na technology na kaya alisin ang particular instruments from a commercial audio CD.  May mga techniques na ginagamit pero nakakaapekto sa ibang instruments.  Pwede lang nga maalis kung meron ka original mutitrack recording ng particular song.

For the MIDI software, I use Adobe Audition or Cakewalk Sonar.  Pwede mag search sa net ng iba pa na pwede mo idownload or you can go to Greenhills Shopsville.  Dami installer CD's don!

oo nga eh... yon din ang pagkaka-alam ko .... sana mag-labas ang mga artists ng CCDs / DVDs na included yung individual "intrument" tracks para pwede kang magtanggal ng instrument na gusto mo ... Ultimate play-along CD/DVD ng band ... ayos ...

meron akong "turn it up & lay it down" series. original drumless tracks for practice.

vol. 1 - containing titles such as slow blues, bossa, samba, standard shuffle solo, zepthing, etc. mixed bunch tong mga to. kaso bass lang instrument dito, walang rhythm guitars. kaya di ko masyadong natripan.

vol. 3 rock it - general rock stuff, titles such as prime us, food fighter, i doubt it, tool shed, etc. the wordplay on the titles obviously show which band sound the song is channeling like primus, foo fighter, no doubt, tool.

vol. 5 double pedal metal - like the title says. metal-ish songs. personally, i think the songs suck. the few times i tried using the for practice, i found myself getting bored and sluggish.

the best of the 3 for me would be "rock it". kumpleto kasi yung band setup at ok din mga kanta.

i downloaded these some time ago from demonoid. i can upload these to rapidshare/megaupload/whatever if you guys can't find 'em. just pm me if you want them.

meron din akong vic firth vol. 1 cd, containing tracks by steve smith, greg bissonette, zoro, tommy igoe, etc. with the drumless versions. i could also upload these if you want. pm lang. :)

meron ba kayong alam na software para ma minimize yung frequency ng drum sa mga kanta para makagawa tayo ng sarili nating minusdrums hehehe

merong site na minusdrums.com na pwede ka magdownload ng mga songs na walang drums. ok sana sya pero i think trial lang un ibibigay nila. parang 30 secs lang ata yung nadownload ko. im not sure, maybe i havent explored that site yet and i dont remember any search tabs there kaya baka mahirap maghanap ng songs.

dapat may winrar program ka para mai-unzip yung mga file sa preferred location mo (e.g. my documents)..then dun mo cya hanapin andun ung mga files..

Eto guys try nyo, Mag download kayo ng Guitar pro tapos kuha na lang kayo ng songs sa Ultimateguitar.com. I know pang gitara lang to pero most of the songs there are complete with lead, 2nd guitar, bass, keyboards and DRUM TRACKS in which pwede mong patayin kahit na anong instrumento or tracks sa file. It utilizes MIDI files so medyo parang videoke ang tunog pero fully cutomizeable ang mga songs dito....HTH

During the early 90's I had to trade my personal drum lesson books and audio just
to get a copy of this mother of all drummer's play along.
God it was all worth it!
Dave made sure his transcription on his Island Magic 7/8 drum solo was 100% accurate and boy it was! Borrowed a drum machine and programmed every each note just to totally check it out...AND WOoooOOOWWW!!! haha plakadong plakado! scrambled the bars and things got more interesting but still sounding very davish hehe! too bad that 36 page instructional book wasn't included on the pdf just the sheet music charts.

Mostly videos but there are about 3gb worth of Play Alongs(and yes, those are in mp3's LOL.) Some covers like 30 Seconds to Mars, Staind, STP, NIN, etc.

Just saw this thread since naging inactive ako sa forum and sa drums for a couple of years. Tinry ko yung mga links kaso dead links na lahat. Meron pa ba kayo ng mga drumless tracks? And san kaya makakahanap (yung free sana)? Thanks.

di ko po alam kung anong genre ang tawag sa ganun, yun po kase ang gusto kong genre na sabayan na tugtug.

yung my mga orchestra na halo etc. yung masarap pasukan ng fills.

may alam po ba kayo na site for free drum tracks. nag research kasi ako, kaso mga nahanap ko kailangan pang mag register at magbayad. baka may alam kayo, share nyo na.
