First Guitar Build  :-)

Ngayon ko palang na try gumawa ng gitara. Sana matapos. Haha. :)


I'm using 5 piece Pine wood, and 2 piece Mahogany for the top.

Yea bro it's based on a PRS  :) the SE Mike Mushok, but i'll use a shorter scale length and a bolt on neck.  :-)

I think thats a good strategy for first time hobbyists..settle for a ready neck muna. and focus on noodling around the body , the art of wood selection ,mastering measuring, geting used to powertools, shaping carving,glueing,painting ..gawa ng templates etc.para di maoverwhelm at medyo mabusisi yung neck...baka maburnout bigla sa laki ng task..and at least maasses yung amount of time, resources na kailangang gugulin..kung worthwhile endeavor nga ito

very nice! siguro including yung parts nagagamitin mo, will cost you more than a low range decent guitar. pero hindi matutumbasan ang experience ng kahit anong halaga ng pera.

I was part of a guitar building din dito sa amin. It was last year when I was working for my custom guitar too. Pero is not na dapat unahin muna gawin yung neck (or at least shape the neck kahit wala pang fretobard) bago gawin yung neck pocket sir?

Sweet skills man! I think you are really inclined with the powertools. Now, you don't have to buy your guitars. :lol: I like how this guitar is an H-H type.  :) This guitar is turning great, you really aimed for perfection and "pulidong gawa." It's really hard to be exact with measurements and dimensions like these.

imo, parang malayo yung neck sa neck pup kasi 21 frets na neck ang ginamit. yung body na ginawa ni TS ay hango sa PRS na design na usually ay 22 or 24 frets. :-D

Oks lang, 'to. May mga guitars talaga na ganyan ang pick-up layout. Here's Jan Cyrka's Kramer. 'Yun nga lang yung kay Jan lumalabas parang middle pick-up na and walang neck. If kuha naman ni TS yung tunog niya then it is all good.
