hmmm first impressions (comparing it to the zoom ms-50g)

pros:
-easier to read tuner
-more effects, factory presets, and user preset slots
-practice tools (headphone out, drum machine, etc)
-7 effects at once (compared to zoom's 6)
-metal casing
-sound editor software (when connected to pc)

cons:
-no stereo output
-i don't need to see that tuner all the time
-i like the ms-50g's display better

unknown:
-user friendly menus or not?
-better sound than the zoom?
-price?

let's see how well it would compete with the zoom multistomps.. since a lot of Philmusic members are already having a blast with theirs (including myself)

ako din abangers ng review (check ko yung video mamaya on a different computer) at demo.

if this thing can do that onwordly reverb sounds as the zoom 70cdr or perhaps close to it, baka ito nalang bilhin ko in the future.

Initial online impressions:

The display is really small and seems not bright, but the software editor and the four pre-set buttons will surely make-up for it;

May built-in rhythm sya!

I'm intrigued by the aux input, since the demo says you can change the pitch to tune it to your guitar. Imagine di mo na kelangan mag down-tune pag hendrix, guns and roses and other rock acts ang kino-cover mo.

Smaller...but with more effects and presets..

Apple users will love the white, orange amp users will love the orange. He,he  :-D..... to be real fashion victim I'd say the Korg brand is way cooler.

Meantime I'll use my Zoom MultiStomp, till funds arrive or GAS dissipates.

Tried a demo uni of this one in GC just now. May demo booth ang Korg. Sounds good enough for practice. Tuner is a bit slower than the pitchblack. Digital Delay models can get into TC territory but not much. Most of the Mods and Delays are at par with Zoom MS  and G series. Forget about the amp sims and distortions. They only sound ok with headphones. Not out to amps. No power amp mode for amp sims so they sound a bit brittle. Sounds great in quality headphones.

Nice control layout. Pretty intuitive and stacking effects like boosts and delays are easy. Zoom MS is a bit easier to control, though.

Demo guitar was a Gibson Studio. Demo amp was a Marshall DSL100H. Earphone was a high end studio headphone i forgot the brand of. This would probably sound ugly with cheap head/earphone.

It is a good practice/backstage tool for the price. They didn't demo it as a pedal you can use with your analog pedals. So it may not be as versatile as a Zoom MS.

hindi sya true bypass ano? unlike korg pitchblack.
mas ok sana kung sinagad na nila features at ginawa pang true bypass.

pag ginawa nila yun most likely tataas ang price, therefore the competition will have an upper hand
