Title: Replacing My Acoustic Guitar Brand to Gibson?
Post by: Dayumnt on February 26, 2014, 04:06:07 PM: Hi guys, I'm planning to change my full body acoustic guitar branding to Gibson, but I don't know where to go to get the "job" done. Alam ko na pwede siya gawin sa Electric, pero pwede rin ba siya sa acoustic? Help plz :D

Angm pinaka kilala kong magaling gumawa nito is si Guitar.Love or Shutterbugjohn. solid yung mga decal replica niya.

kung gagawin mo, di na mabebenta sa Philmusic yan. sayang naman.

to be honest, i dont see the point in changing the decal of your guitar into a well-known brand. sure, you would have bragging rights among the ones who dont know anything, but sooner or later, malalaman pa rin yan.

i also dont see the point in people owning certain brands for bragging purposes. the only reason i am getting a Gibson acoustic is because it sounds good, and it holds a decent resale value - both of which are not true if you change brand x's decal into a "gibson"

my advice: don't do it
