Title: Hole in a Bass
Post by: Joshua_Ducut on October 14, 2014, 02:42:03 PM

Kung mas malaki dun sa usual na port, gusto nung drummer ng mas ma-attack/less boom na sound but at that point you might as well remove the front skin.

+1
I prefer the feel of vented kicks too especially for rock.

With hole, more attack less roundness in kick.short sound siya
Without hole mas feel mo yung round sound ng bass parang maugong in a way

And you could appreciate the sound on your side and far away, pero syempre not all cases it would work.
Correct tuning is also a big factor here mga paps. ^-^
