i got to watch jazz guitar master Jeff Richman play at the Baked Potato late last month. i got to take some photos of his pedalboards (he uses two Fender Deluxe Reverb amps, and a pedalboard is assigned to each amp):
i don't know what those two pedals with weird swirly finishes are. i thought they were customized Lovepedal COT50 and Eternity pedals but i guess i was wrong. anyway, the other pedals are: BOSS TU-2, modded Vox V848 wah, BOSS FV-50L expression pedal, Custom Audio Electronics Freddy Fuzz, vintage Ibanez TS-808 Tube Screamer, Sweet Sound Mojo Vibe, Ibanez Modulation Delay, Ario SCH-1 Stereo Chorus.

Wala siyang pedalboard dahil lahat ng effect changes niya ginagawa ng tech niya. The only effect he controls is the wah which is really just a foot controller for his rack wah.

idol ko talaga tone ni aguirre. check out razorback's diwata. im guessing he used his les paul for that song. ok din yung tone nya sa star na album, way heavier and darker. im also guessing that he likes to roll off the volume sa guitar for a clean sound in that album(siguro ung PRS ginagamit nya) hehe. its nice to guess sometimes.

Nuno's set up is one of the practical ways of ridding to many modulation boxes in your board. most modulation effects are digital anyways. what's more important than an analogue dirt pedal?

I've always speculated it was more of the strat that he was playing in the Hebigat album, same with Beggars moon and Ikot ng Mundo, though I think the LP is on the Payaso track. It's the self-titled album that really bugs me kung ano mga ginamit niya, loved the tone sa Solo
Yeah, it's awesome to try guessing what gear and guitars people used in their recordings. :-D
