I replaced coffee with tea. Lagi ako nagpapalpitate sa kape eh. But unlike you guys, I drink my tea with milk and sugar (or sugar substitutes), just like most other Asian countries do for breakfast/dessert (although Thai tea the best sakit lang sa diabetes). Nahihilo ako sa straight up tea.

For me it's just black tea and some milk and sugar. Pag sa coffee shot bumibili, english breakfast with milk. minsan chai pag may cake. pag nag-eemo, matcha. I don't like jasmine at all.

thats teh tarik pre.

talamak yan sa Malaysia/Singapore. milk tea + condensed milk.

ganyan iniinom ko dati. Weedur gave the idea of the mixture and i thought "why nuts?". ayun nakaadikan ko. became a nightly habit.

then i realized i was emptying a big can of condensed milk every 3 nights. guesstimated how much sugar i was taking in and how life threatening it was for me.

tinigil ko lahat pagkatapos.

mismo yang Teh Tarik. ako din dati, mahiig ako sa tea laced with sugar or honey. gnayon wala, as much as possible, tea lang as is. kung kailangan, half a spoon of honey.

pag coffee naman I prefer bitter kesa sweet hahaha siguro di lang ako sobrang sanay sa "grassy" types of tea. english breakfast pa rin or forest fruit ni lipton!

sa coffee I prefer a sweet medium roast without sugar, espresso. ayoko ng dark, di ko na kaya, lalo na pag press/drip  :|
sa teas naman hanggang yung lipton lang ako for "instant" quality, tsaka english breakfast. no earl grey, yak  :|

anyone tried those Lipton Infusions?

binigyan ako dati. was expecting the same tea taste with hints of fruit fragrance. i was wrong. its a straight up fruit tea drink. ang asim pa. ive no choice but to dump the contents of the cup, make a new one with little hot water, add cold water and ice to it.

I've tried them. There's barely any fruit in there. para syang tea na binabad sa flavoring, or yun nga fruit tea mismo. at sakto din ginawa ko nun, dumped the thing, made a new one with some hot water, dumped cold water and ice then added sugar.

I like it for builder's tea  :) and thai tea  meron ako nyan dati sa office yung higanteng box

HK style classic milk tea here.

OMG!! I love tea!! Green tea, barley tea, earl grey, chamomile and what not. Pero not necessarily pumayat. More to de stress and calm my nerves and partly for health reasons (anti oxidant shiz etc).

BTW I totally hate and regret drinking jasmine tea.

When I was younger, I used to drink those so called laxative/slimming teas. I wouldn't recommend them. If para magpapayat, green tea along with proper diet and exercise . Yun talaga the best. change of pace and change of lifestyle din.

certified tea and coffee drinker here

But since, this is a tea thread, ill bump in.

I'm not drinking tea para pumayat, but also, its my habit to drink tea, mid-day
Nagumpisa sa infused flavor tea, then, naging green, then hanggang black tea

I bought a tea from Twinings, Green tea gunpowder with mint. You need a filter for this or french press or a teapot.

Now, merong akong stock dito sa office na chamomile  with mint, which is wrong move, dapat talaga, sa bahay lang,

Paging ms mayumi!

Yung sa oolong, oo yata. Not light enough to be green, not dark enough to be black. Usually ang naaabutan ko either oolong or jasmine. I don't like either hahahahaha.

Yeah tila oolong nga yun. Genmaicha siguro yung sinasabi mo. It's green tea mixed with toasted rice grains. But if parang kape yung color it could be mugicha or roasted barley tea which is a typical everyday tea sa japan, and you can buy a pack of 50 teabags (malaki ung tea bag neto pang isang pitsel) for less than 200 petot.

The first time i tried jasmine tea, para akong nasa funeraria.

as the time goes by, im getting used to its taste, pero minsan talaga, wala ako sa mood uminom ng jasmine tea, kahit ugn chamomile, nakakasuya,

what i do is, i get a lemon, honey mix, voila, pwede na!
