Good day fellow musicians,
I am in need of help on how to determine whether my bacchus tele is a fake one. Got it from a trade, the first owner said that it doesn't have a serial number because it was manufactured here in the Philippines particularly in cavite. Honestly I do not care at first because it feels good for me and I thought that I would not be selling this but unfortunately I have to due to medical fees. I don't want to sell fake or copies that is why I am in need of your help. Thank you guys

might be tough, but maybe we can try to trace its lineage..from seller, or who he got it from etc..good luck..waiting for the pics..

Baka naman hindi siya part ng bacchus production kaya walang serial. Baka itinakas lang palabas ng company bago pa matatakan, pero still made by them. Kasi kung ako lang, may peke ba na bacchus? Kung magaabala ako mangfake edi fender or gibson sana mas madali pa ibenta.

I dont know I just find it strange na walang serial number. I just want to make sure na di fake ang mabenta ko.

Mejo naisip ko din to sir pero i just want to make sure na authentic yung bebenta ko. Ayoko din po kasi masabihang fraud. Plus wala din ako kasing mahanap na exact model na under ng "Craft Series". Possible ba na iba yung selector ng pick up niya from the ones na under ng series niya? Thanks :)

May body contour sir?

Sell it as is. Put a price then disclose everything you know about it. If it plays and sounds good, I wouldn't care kung orig or peke yan.
Unless you're asking way too much.

^I'm checking Bacchus Teles on their website Craft Series. The differences I see are body contour, headstock and PUP config. The Craft series doesn't have the P90 on neck model.
The model that matches the headstock and PUP configuration are the Standard Series but the neck bolt on plate is not present. Universe series also have the same headstock but doesn't have the body contour and same PUP configuration. I added photos so that every one can see the diff. The serial most probably located at the back of the headstock.

iba yung pickguard shape sa horn ng body ng tele ni TS dun sa pics from online. Mas matulis yung pickguard horn ng kay TS if compared.

seems legit...I think its one of those mass produced bacchus for the japan or international market na parang masa model nila? parang fernando, sx, squire , style... hunch ko lang..the guitar looks nice by the way!

I guess your pricepoint is fine, for the design and condition.. for sure mag haggle pa naman ang buyer, a few hundreds to a thousand..should be ok. good luck!

Yung neck is from craft series pero yung neckplate is from universe series. Try looking again,
baka parang partscaster to. Stamped yung mga nasa craft series or could be an earlier model then they decide to improve parts of the craft series for the new production?
