Hello Mates,
Just my curiosity...does anybody here know or have an idea of the most re-sold guitar here? that fell into dozen of hands already.. :)

That would be a dead sounding guitar. I don't think anybody here will admit to even owning that guitar... heh heh.

usually mga ganyan hindi sinasabi in public.
ive seen peeps who try to sell their guitar pero year in and year out walang gustong bumili. it means the word has gotten around.
pero unfair naman sa ibang sellers / owners kung hindi naman totoo yung balita di ba? lalo na kung medyo tone deaf yung nagkalat. best is you go and try the guitars out for yourself.

I think may dumaan sakin na isa. 1988 MIJ Fender ST72 Natural. May crack sha sa headstock sa may 5th string tuning peg. Yung 2nd tone pot nya was replaced with a 5-position varitone-like switch with some sort of a capacitor network. I think marami nang naging owner yun. I got it from nathanmanansala and sold it to another forum guy I forgot the handle name na.
I bought it for 18k and sold it for the same price. It was my "the one that got away" guitar for a while coz it sounded and played great. That was until I got another MIJ strat that IMO is a lot better haha :-D I havent seen it in the classifieds for a while now though.

Looks like there's some truth to this. Wala naman daw hiyaw ang mga nasa classifieds eh diba. #WalangHiyawKa

well, ika nga ng isang beterano dito sa philmusic
"in every batch of guitars (whether cheap, expensive or even true 50s and 60s vintage) there are lemons and gems".
sa internet forums and even my personal experiences, ive come across boutique brands and vintage instruments that are dead sounding.
meron pa nga ako nakita sa net na naka kinailangan bumili ng ilang gitara (specific model) from a Top Builder. and we're talking $10,000++ level na guitar ha. so this means hindi superb yung talagang nakukuha niya from that builder and by nature builders, even with all their talent, will not be able to predict the outcome of their builds.
in other words, considering the probabilies involved, si Sir Alex, marunong talaga pumili ng gitara.

There's a red Thomson (?) mustang that I've seen sold at least five times over the years.
