i agree. one can achieve the rocker look if he's pale and lanky, add the "i-dont-wash-my-hair" look.
but not for me. it's funny though, goth fashion has great influence on how i dress but i don't really listen to goth music. hehe :p

for me to be a rocker is not only having long hair and many earings..image is not really important to be called a rocker..its just in the state of mind..its like calling yourself a trasher when you dont even know how to ride a skateboard..know what i mean?
so to be a rocker for me is not just memorizing lyrics of your favorite rock song but having your mind set that this is what i want and i will continue wanting it..

a true rocker.....just be yourself. stay away to all the [gooey brown stuff] they say about a rocker lifestyle like sex (optional hehehe), drugs and alcohol coz those are too 70's mindsetting. if you're in a band that plays rock music then that's a major plus factor obviously. true rockers in a deeper sense are basically freedom lover or fighters.
These so called true rockers are really humble but not weak.

Being a rocker is not about how they look, what instrument they play and how good they play it or how many earings they have on their body. It's about one's state of mind. If you think you're a rocker then act like a rocker. You don't have to force you or others to think that you're a rocker. When I meet new people or go to new places, everyone assumes that I'm a rocker without any effort of telling them that I am or saying that I'm good at playing the guitars. I don't even have any piercings. Of course, we can't put aside the basis of being a rocker. The music. It's in its rootword itself. ROCK!

i never once said that i know better than any of the other members here, but just to answer ur question to me a rock song can be revolutionary, something that moves people. The technicality can be fast, agressive sound or just simply less agression like when performed by acoustic guitar but still keeps the rock vibe. The lyrics are importans as well. It just depends on the artists what kind of message the song tries to tell.

appreciate the music. don't close your mind to other sub-genres of rock, or other genres for that matter. just because you know a few rock songs, like wearing black, wear long hair, tattoos or piercings, doesn't make you a rocker...you really have to show deep appreciation for the music and respect for other genres. or people who appreciate other genres.

ang di ko lang maintindihan talaga bakit pag may baguhan na rakista they easily judge him or her na poser lang sya? kailangan ba talagang ganun? sabi ni basti dati,, they make music to help other people to understand and open their eyes sa kung ano ang meron sa lipunan,, sana instead na i judge natin ang mga baguhan na poser lang sila,, tulungan nalang natin sila na ibahagi kung ano man yung gustong ipating ng mga musikang rock,, \m/ :twisted:

nakapagsuot lang ng itim n tshir at pants may nail polish n black..naghawi ng buhok sa gilid felling nila alam n nila lahat tungkol sa mundong pinapasok nila..
marame lang kc akong na eencounter n ganun kaya un..peace :-D

appreciate the music. don't close your mind to other sub-genres of rock, or other genres for that matter. just because you know a few rock songs, like wearing black, wear long hair, tattoos or piercings, doesn't make you a rocker...you really have to show deep appreciation for the music and respect for other genres. or people who appreciate other genres.
