punuuin ng velcro ang ibabaw and ur on the go na...
tapos kung gusto mo ng cheap bag para sa customized pedal board mo... use the elementary school bag trick made of board paper... ano na nga ba ang tawag doon sa makapal na carton na yun? tapos some handles etc etc you know the drill...

Then, nilagyan ng velcro.
May velcro ba yan or de-patong lang?

rubber stoppers from landmark hardware

Guys,Meron nyan. Gamit ko ganyan. Usually if you don't know how to remove your pedals, ganyan mangyayari. Pero if you use a thin PLASTIC to slice it in between when you remove the pedals walang problem. Based on experience lang naman to ha. Pero if you want na walang himulmol and madikit, you can get one of those industrial type velcro sheets sa states. I'll try to post some pics kung pano gawin. Wrong technique=bad results.
Have you noticed, yung ibang carpet madaling naghihimulmol as opposed to the ones that are very durable? Kahit after first time mo pa lang dinikit yung pedal, pag tanggal sobrang worn out na agad yung carpet.

So kung anong pwedeng mapagpatungan ng pedals as long as hindi mabigat pwede na din.
I think w/ that, you're just preventing it to be more obvious bro, but basically, it is still there. :oops:maybe. but for me it's ok. I will just try to take some pics. Coz Im now using bicycle chains din bro eh. May ibang materials pa ba for carpet na pwedeng gamitin?
Very neat! I thought about this as well. I might use marine ply this time. Any thoughts about this?Kaya pala you sold it. You can use marine ply pero mas mabigat un. If you're thinking of hardiflex mas mabigat parin. If you're thinking using wood slabs, much heavier. Maybe the only way to go is ALUMINUM or get a smaller size board or divide your setup into two section para dalawa bitbit mo and ma-devide ung weight. You can try to ask your local hardware for confirmation sa differences sa weight na binigay ko bro.
Acrylic glass / plexi glass are available in 3/16, 1/8, 1/4, etc. I think may 1/2 and 1 inch pa pero medyo pricey and mabigat na.

hmmmmmmm.... ayaw mo talaga mag laptop bag trick? hehehe..
nope. This is the logic behind that. Velcro has very tiny HOOKS right? If you say yes then let's continue. The carpet/surface has tiny fibers stuck together. Let us imagine na CIRCLET ito where the hooks go in. As you stick the Velcro sa carpet the hooks will go inside the circlets. So makadikit na sila. When you try to lift the velcro, may kapit na. So if you directly remove the velcro sa carpet it will literally pull the carpet fibers.
Let's have a simple analogy.
SO if you pull that thread it will lengthen diba coz mahihila ung rest ng thread. Pero if you cut the thread near the site kung san siya umusli, walang lengthening or walang magiging effects sa shirt mo.
So my point is when you cut or remove the adhesion sa HOOK and CIRCLET before you pull it of it wouldn't create a "HIMULMOL". Coz ung himumol na sinabi mo bro yan ung lengthening or stretching of the carpet fiber.
Why does the soft part of the Velcro(partner of the hook part) doesn't have himumol?
'coz the fibers are woven dun sa parang base nya. Ung parang strap.
Ok let us go to the pushing back stuff. If pushing back, so may himulmol na na form diba? so ibabalik ko lang by pushing the fibers back sa carpet. right? If may himulmol na naform and im just pushing it back, it will not go back and would be visible sana. The only way who can remove the himumol is to cut it with a pair of scissors. Kahit you'll push it back for X long, it would not go back 'coz the "LENGTHENING" of the fiber is already there na. hehehe!
:-D
^Neat looking!3M double sided tape. Yung red na makapal. The tape itself looks like putty. The thin ones don't stick as much. I think they use this to stick fallen off car parts back on the car.
Mga Sir what do you use to attach the carpet on to the board? Glue ba? What kind and product po?
^Neat looking!sa akin rugby, on the board and carpet..

Guys,Velcro most definitely.
Which for you is more dependable for the pedals, velcro or carpet?
Ako kadalasan 1/4 plywood, synthetic leaders, rugby, aluminum glass clip, 3m velcro with adhesive or 3m dual sided tape yung makapal. pag binuhat mo isang pedal sama buong board.

1/4 will definitely give you problems. always, always use 1/2 marine ply. nothing more. nothing less. it will last longer. that, i can guarantee.
Is there any other wood better than marine ply?
3M double sided tape. Yung red na makapal. The tape itself looks like putty. The thin ones don't stick as much. I think they use this to stick fallen off car parts back on the car.ung carpet sa board just use the godd ol rugby... or contact cement. un na din un...makakamura ka pa... dun lang sa effects ka gumamit ng double sided para tipid.. dba?

none
velcro sa pedals, carpet sa board...
if tipid mode ka bro, buy a carpet rag sa ace hardware. around 90php yun. gupitin/tastasin mo lang yun edge nya para mahati mo sa gitna.
you will have a carpet para sa bottom and rubber mat para sa ilalim.
nyaaaah, hmmmmm..pedal board with "welcome logo" ..pwede hehe .
aluminum sheets
detachable hinges
locks
corner guards
velcro/carpet
foam
salamat.
raon po.
BTW, i bought a manual riveter from home depot. it cost me around 500 pesos, i never thought that there's an available manual riveter in the market. (it is being use for riveting, so i think it is called riveter, cmiiw.)
Mga sir ask ko lang po, what do you use to stick the velcro at the bottom of the pedals? May velcro kasi ako hook part, wonder ko lang ano pwedeng gamitin na glue to stick the velcro at the pedals. Di ko pa kasi nadidikit yung akin eh.

raon po.bro about your PM pala, if you can find a HDF board there ok din un. Ordinary ok din. 11mm would be sufficient na rin bro. Good luck on the build bro!

Yep it works. Here are the steps bro:
1. apply anample amount of rubber cement on both sides of the surface
2. let it dry
3. check by slightly touching a part of the surface, if the rugby is a bit sticky on both surface it's ready to go
4. stick it together
5. **VERY IMPORTANT*** let it dry! let it dry let it dry! THe longer the better
Heres the Pics..

I just want to modify a pedalboard/case. Gustong gawing angled yung pedal board from the floor and not have it lie completely flat. And am I calling it correctly? Any ideas? Please PM me or text at 0917-5320884.
Maraming salamat po.
ah i see. :-)

1 psu
3 analog pedals lang
makakabile kaya ako nga materials for 300php liit lang ng set up ko ehkayang-kaya yan Pao. yung akin wala pa ata 500 e. basta subukan mo muna sa mga local upholstery shops diyan sa inyo. may kamahalan rin kasi sa ACE.
1 psu
sa me sucat kaya meron non ?
kaso mahal ang benta nila kasi malapad yung width nung carpet so yung 1 yard nasa 250 pesos ata..

got the board from ACE, laminated na yun
handles from ACE as well, had it screwed on the board dun na din
rubber stoppers from landmark hardware
Heres the Pics..

hhhmmmm.... Here's some tips.
ACRYLIC
1. very very very fragile stuff. you should be careful in drilling holes and stepping on your pedals coz the surface tends to bend.
2. It's pricey
3. Really neat if you have something glowing behind it
4. You DON'T NEED VELCRO for this type of surface. Just use 3M DOUBLE SIDED tape(http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p81/bone1205/DSC00044.jpg)
