Kase brother... walang macromedia dreamweaver at macromedia flash sa OS X at kahit ano pang OS ng MAC hehehehehehehehe kailangan ko yun as web designer :-D

Since Mac became Intel-based, it has been able to run Windows XP on dual boot (OS X), kind of like the one we are used to in Windows. At some computer and electronic sales last year, Mac machines and laptops have been demo'd using both OS's. As for Vista, it is said that the best machine currently to run it without upgrading to maximum souped-up specs is a, uhm, Mac : )
There is Flash for OS X and Dreamweaver MX for it, too : )

wow di ko alam yan ah ? kc i was planning to buy a mac a year ago and crossed to this one forum about macs... sumali pa ako to inquire and they are all protesting to macromedia na mag release na sila ng Mac Versions... so meron na pala ngayon hehehehe.. pde patingin ng link kung saan yung product details about this ?

cool job! btw, I was shown OS X's built-in FTP program very recently. On the downside, though, is Photoshop which isn't yet optimized for OS X. Means, slow, like I was working on my PC. I assume that as a designer you switch to Photoshop for image editing. However, those who've tried out CS3 on OS X (all 650mb download from Adobe site) say that the speed and processing is noticeably faster, like 33% or so.

haaaaaaaaayy GAStos na naman...

:-D Not a bad decision, I think. If you know how much prices have dropped, you're better off getting one now than last year. E.g. an MBP 1.8 coreduo (not CD2) is now about P54k-58k (with some freebies) down from about P80k-ish last year. Still have some time to think about possibly disposing of the A64 for a good Apple machine :p

Sweet. Isn't that the beauty of Apple? Dual booting actually means the ability to run two platforms in one machine, not just running two versions of one OS 8-)

Di naman siguro...
A lot of misimpression, even counting my own experience, before I switched, e.g. expensive, hard to handle, too exclusive, etc. What I can say is the investment is well worth it, especially with crashes and downtime that one experiences with Windows. To me, I had enough of blue screens. I can't even say to my clients that my comp crashed, even if I've been crying my eyes out. There simply is no excuse, and no sympathy from their end, of course.

kaya nga.. all they have to do is try it out for a day hehe...
you buy an assembled pc in gilmore... you use it now.... youl fix it later... never ending fixing... never ending optimizing how to make it work hehe....
youl buy a mac now... it willl work for you 24/7 good for 3-4 years =)
coz we all know by that time.. theres something more powerful than your current machine hehehe
