u two chose 2 gain/drive pedals, tell us how u use them in a typical gig, which one is for which?
@ nathanthe miaudio is the main crunch pedal providing medium to high gain crunch. the gain knob is usually set from 10 to 12 o'clock, depending on how much i feel i need. i turn it up or down in between songs. same goes for the tone knob.

...Ok, the guitar I listed is the first Ibanez I ever bought. Of my four guitars, it is my fav go-to guitar. I have shielded the p-up and control cavities with copper tape, replaced the stock p-ups with Dimarzio p-ups. It has an Air Norton in the neck, VirtuAL in the middle, and a Steve's Special in the bridge.

yup of course pinaka limited ung no fx,pero i think mas limited ung 1 acoustic only no amp just going to gig with just it and micing it up stright to PA!!!! :evil: and of course i know majority of us here are electric players with average of having 1 or 2 guitars and then 1-3,4,55,6,7,8,9 effects pedals and 1 or 2 amps :evil: hehehe...kaya for many downsizing ur rig/setup into 1 guitar,3 stomps and 1 amp is pretty limiting,pero the thing hir is what if and can you still getaway with it? so if ever u will take a 2nd look @ ur rig and can say: kaya ko pala ng simple setup!!!

I can play a gig with one or no pedal at all (given the right amp for the venue)... but these days, I need more than 3 effects to make it fun and interesting for our music!! tuner, wah/leslie/dejavibe/flanger, compressor, 2 or dual od pedals, and booster/eq. Aaargghh!!!

2 drive pedals, 2-3 gain stages. the TS-9 for rhythm work, the DS-1 for heavier rhythm work, both at the same time for lead work, the TS-9 acting as booster for the DS-1.

Why? I love my Ibanez AS200 it gives me all the tones that i need in my playing
style which is medyo hardrock, from warm neck pickup tones to chugging bridge
humbucker, yup it's a jazz guitar pero who says u can't break rules hehehe..
for the effects i liked the Digitech Metal Master for its insane gain, i've compared
it to the boss metal zone pero i must say the digitech wins in my taste and un
nga marami nagcomment sa distortion tone ko lagi na ang cool daw ng heavy
sound ko so yea this one's a keeper for me, the Boss OD3 naman used for
boost rythym/solo parts na needs slight gain for chord/note definition where the metal
master can't exactly do...next is the Digidelay for all my delay needs...
for the amp..Fender Twin i don't own one of this pero i've used it and so far this
amp has on of the best clean tones u can ever imagine, it also has a nice low end to it,
yup compare the clean tone of a marshall with the same settings and u can tell the fender
has more low end bite to it which is great because i ran my amp clean and so i have
enough headroom for equalization extra points for its built in killer spring reverb..
there you have it...philmusic guitarists ano sa inyo? i wanna know...
and i'm sure many would like to know given this limited setup/rig...
