Title: Thought of buying 1000 pcs. of Taiyo Yuden CD-Rs

Is it worth the hassle?  Importation is no big deal if they're expensive here.

Taiyo Yuden factories are in MEPZ, Lapulapu.

I'll be darned if I know a thing about importation economics.

Then again, they also charge an arm and a leg for Celestion speakers. And guess where those things come from :D

They say Celestions are made in China.  But word has it that their hi-fi stuff are made in the DAI-1CHI plant in the Philippines.

Taiyo Yuden may factories sa Mactan Economic Zone, pero hindi doon ginagawa ung Taiyo Yuden That's CD-R, hawak sa That's CD-R ay START Lab. lahat na That's CD-R na may tatak na Made in Japan, factory sa japan ginagawa.

Actually, a modding customer offered to bring me 2 Celestion Greenbacks from the Dai-Ichi plant in Cavite. :D. 1000 pesos apiece :D
