ganda ng 5D the best na cam yan sir pero may rumor na sa 5D mark II wait ka nalang sayang eh 16MP? WOW! the best sir muna 40D para mabilis ibenta kung lalabas na mark II 5D =) get the 40D and 50mm 1.2L PERFECT hehehehe =)
yung shot na yan sir ng 40d im using id Mark II N with 85mm 1.2L kaya lalim ng DOF =)
hobby lang sir yung photography sa akin =) pero willing naman magcontribute sa isang magazine basta kaya ng powers ko hehehehe

the feel is not okay since nasanay ako sa D series and still waiting for the BG-E2N lumabas dito sa atin kasi ang mga nandidito palang sa atin BG-E2 lang kaya dimuna

I see.. I just got home from mall of emirates and i looked for this nikon D80
Kinda expensive really but I planned to avail one.. But again, I'm thinking
of getting either nikon D40 or canon EOS 400D since I am just a beginner.
Have so much interest on photography though..

actually hindi ko pa masyado alam ang specs ng 400D pero kung ako sa iyo Cannon ang bibilin ko kasi malamang made in Japan yun.

I found out early that I'll stick to my 30D and save up for the new 5D. World class ang features. :-)

oo nga, para sa mga engot na katulad ko mas ok pa sa tingin ko ang 40D kesa sa 5D ( kahit na full frame cam ito) dahil mas madaling gamitin yung 40D saka mas madali yung pag operate lalo na sa mga taong ayaw magbasa ng manual at ayaw magdala ng flash. me mga settings na nagpapadali sa pagkuha ng pix at isa pa me preview screen ( live view) yun kaya kita mo kaagad yung pix na kalalabasan sa screen. 8-)

Btw, i saw a 2nd hand canon 10D (without lens, but with charger, manual..) for only 13k. Actuations=5k+. Is it worth it?

hehe make sure di pa nireset yung actuations ahehe 5k+ i think maxado mababa hehe.
Ok din 10d and 20d my friend got a mint 20d body for 12k lang damn mabilis bilis na rin yung 20d 8000 max speed hehe and ok naman kuha sharp parin.

Im much satisfied w/canon 400d..baka nag-sisi ako kung yung nikon d40 ang kinuha ko...peace..

my first DSLR camera was the Canon 400D but after a couple of years i decided to upgrade my DSLR. I'm now a proud and happy Canon 60D owner...
SHare some tips and tricks about our camera here..
Here's my share:
For HDR photography (tripod is recommended) you can use the Bracketing feature on your cam, plus the High Speed "Burst" mode. Choose the -2 and +2 exposures and on to your favorite PP app :-)

For Panorama Shooters, Use a Tripod, when shooting the next frame, make sure that you have atleast 1/4 of the first frame in your second frame.

try to turn of the AF function sa lens mo pag nagppractice ka. para ma train ka din. at pag nasa shoot ka at nagka problema sa AF mo kaya mo parin i tuloy yung shoot.

Una kong cam Powershot a470 (R.I.P). ngayon Powershot a3100IS at Canon Eos 1000D gamit ko. at wala pa akong plano mag upgrade. nag iipon ako pambili ng lens at flash. :-D

Ahhh. Yung binili kasi namin na 60D, body lang, walang kasamang kit lens. So 49k yun sa FotoHub. Yung lens naman, 32k namin nambili. Separate yung body sa lens sir. :D

i totally agree, pero para saken no.1 ang canon.. both camera brands are ok naman in quality.

My first Canon camera was Canon Powershot A590IS buhay pa gang ngayon. Tas pahiram hiram ako ng mga DSLR sa mga kaklase ko, pati SLR. Trip na trip ko yung nahiram ko dati na CANON FT. Sobrang vintage.
Tas ngayon mayroon na ko at last na sariling DSLR. 60D owner. 18-55mm pa lang lens ko. Will buy the cheap 50mm 1.8 by next week or next next week. Planning to build a DIY steadicam and slider. Haha
More on video making ako. Short filmmaker.
Baka mayroon kayong masa-suggest na wide angle lens na cheap for Canon. Kahit ibang brand like tamron, tokina etc. basta Ultra Wide sana na affordable. :)

you can also shoot landscape photo, using 50mm lens etc, hindi ibig sabihin na landscape ay kailangan mo ng wide lens, it depends. composition at konting imahinasyon lang ang kailangan :)

Ndi naman first time bro. Matagal na t3i dito sa bahay. Balak ko lang mag upgrade. May friend kasi ako ngayon na balak i swap mint mark iii nya to my bogner ecstasy. Napapaisip lang ako kasi dko rin masyadong kailangan tong amp na malaki ngayon.

Invest ka na lang sa Canon o Tokina, wag na sa Sigma. Konti lang din naman difference tapos ang laki ng benefit mo in terms of IQ.

tama po yun 550d user po ako..i love it walang plan mag upgrade its lighter than 7d... invest po sa lenses,di ko lang gusto yung design ng 600d it looks like a handycam hybrid because of the tiltable lcd advantage lang po ang 7d pag sport shooter ka mabilis framrate at mas madami focusing points pero magagawa mo naman din yun sa 550

kung hindi mo kelangan yung tilt screen get the 550d. pero makalking tulong din siya minsan lalo na pag naka tripod ka tapos maskit na yung likod mo para tumungo, or pag kukuha ka ng pictures mula sa taas

ang advise ko lang po wag nyong gagalawin ung on cam settings, kasi hindi sya na apply sa lahat.. RAW shots needs to be edited on computers at hindi ung camera mag aadjust ng saturation , vibance etc.

never.. may feature ang canon ng ganyan pero ang point kasi ng mga post process is after ng picture, maski naman hindi ito ganun kaganda sa "camera preview" after ng post process makukuha mo rin ang gusto mo. just my opinion.
