Kung kayo po ang tatanungin, bibili po ba kayo ng PS3? :-D

sa ngayon sobrang ang hirap bumili ng ps3 sa totoo lang dahil sa kamahalan at kakulangan ng games.
cguro mga 2 years from now pa ako mag iisip kung bibili ako. pero sa ngayon malabo. sobrang mahal.

Kung di ka naman die hard fan ng sony wag muna. Onti palang maganda ng PS3 ngayon like Ninja Gaiden, Resistance tsaka Heavenly Sword. Kung gusto mo marami nang games tas nex-gen graphics, XBOX360 ka nalang. Yun nga lang, mejo hindi reliable ang makina niya (may 33% failure rate ang XBOX360).

i just did. yup, konti pa lang games, pero so far may mga okay naman ng games like:
- oblivion
- ninja gaiden sigma
- resistance fall of man
so tamang tama, pag natapos nyo na to, may bago na ulit.
baka gusto nyo tingnan yung preview ng assassin's creed, mukhang eto ang next astig na game. Hanep din yung producer nitong game na to, si jade raymond.
ps3 din ang cheapest blu ray disk player sa ngayon, i think.

dati ayoko talaga sana... wii ang balak ko, then muntik na talaga yung xbox360 but eventually napa-PS3 na din ako.
wala lang. ang saya, nags-store pa ako ng videos (read: porn) sa HD :lol:
yeah, ang konti pa lang ng games ngayon pero di na ako tulad ng dati na bili ng games left and right! ngayon yung pili lang at yung alam kong tatapusin ko :-)
its true na mageenjoy ka more if you have an HDTV, but my flat screen SDTV is fine with me. gamit ko una S-Video, then nakakuha ako ng component cable kaya super ganda na ng graphics :-D
para sa mga gusto talaga magHD, instead of buying a TV, i suggest that you get an LCD monitor. Kahit yung samsung na 22" LCD monitor, 15K lang. less known brands sell for 11K at PCXpress. Buy a media box so you can plug HDMI cables, cable TV, etc etc and there you have it. a 22" HDTV "kuno" for less than 20K :-)
i have 4 games so far, and am planning to buy 2 more, maybe assassin's creed and oblivion, or uncharted. tapos come february, devil may cry 4 na baby! and yeah, malapit na din ang GT5 prologue! 8-)
soooo, i don't think walang reason na hindi magka ps3 kung may budget ka naman kahit wala pa yung magagandang games :-)

ung kklase ko may ps3 na.. dun na lang ako maglalaro haha. tsaka nung naglaro ako sknla.. ndi ko natripan msyado parang ndi ganun kaganda graphics.. kasi di hdtv..

17k pero sa HK ko nakita ehh. sa mongkok, dun sa katapat ng g2000 store. nagbebenta din sila ng mga cellphones, katabi din siya ng fortress (hehe tinandaan ko para pag bibili na kami :wink:)tapos whole package na yun. w/ 1 free game ata.. nung bumibili ako ng psp. dapat ps3 nalang kinuha ko kasi 12k yung psp eh yung ps3 17k lang..(converted to peso na ha.. :-D)
pero may nakita din ako na medyo mura dito sa pinas., sa may tutuban yun. i forgot the store's name 22k pero di ko pa alam kung nakapackgae yun. :-)

hehe nagmukha tuloy akong barbero dahil sa tagal na hindi ko nasagot yung mga nagtatanong kung saan....yep 17k pero dun nga. IMO parehas yan kasi kung nasira yung ps3 kelangan mo pa bumalik sa hk para ipaayos yun. hindi naman po ata international warranty yun (tama ba yung term?) unless may kamag anak ka na nandun, and less hassle pa din. :-)

actually sir, hindi na yan uber expensive kasi naalala ko bili ko sa ps2 games ko 2 years almost 3k pa sya e. nagulat nga ako nung nakita ko yung games ngayon sa ps3 kapresyo ng ps2 games 1-2 yrs ago. haha

yung metal gear solid 4 ilalabas na sa june..:-) may package sila kasama na sa ps3 at may kasama na ring dual shock 3 controller (which is not yet available in the US)..
may mga balita dito sa bahay na bumili daw si kuya ng ps3 kanina, hindi ko pa nacoconfirm kasi hindi pa siya dumadating.. naexcite tuloy ako hehehe :-D
edit: totoo pala..:-) kaya lang ang game lang nba 2k8.. nagdodownload lang ng mga demos para may malaro kame hehe.. :-D

hehe i remember, ganito din ako dati sir. ang huling console ko eh family computer pa tapos 100% rin ako sa PC/desktop.
pero dumating yung time na nagsawa na ko sa kaka upgrade ng pc ko kaya sinubukan kong mag ps3. so ngayon, pag surf, chat, email, PC. paglaro, ps3. so far ang reklamo ko lang eh ang mamahal ng games kaya kelangan piliin mabuti bago bumili ng new games.

PC=The best. Ang ps3 malalaos din yan ang pc upgradeable at mas ideal kasi mas madami kang magagawa gamit ang pc. :-D

Id buy i a ps3 if i had money, ^_^ naglalaway na ako sa mga lumalabas na armored core games, but id rather buy and i mac muna yung 4GB memory and 1terabyte hard drive space hehe,
also yung Ps3 i heard you can add 2 more hard drives, dunno the name of the parts but it can reac a 1terabyte hard drive space, kaya DL ko nalang yung games of the net tulad ng gingawa natin lahat sa PSP :-D

Id go with the big PS3 kasi natakot ako sa nangyari sa PS2 ng friend ko, di pde yung slim for 24/7 playing i think, kaya big and bulky choice ko :-D

pero magkakaganyan din siguro in the future. wala pa namang solid rumors or confirmations about the slim ps3 saka mga 2 years pa lang nasa market ung PS3 eh.

para sakin solid ang ps3 kaso wala pang peke. olats pa bumili. saka kung icompare sha sa pc? sa games? well sa ps3 nako. pc kaya humabol ng graphics kaso every single time kelangan mo magupgrade para malaro mo yung magagandang laro tapos minsan hassle pa maginstall. console kasi plug play lng eh. wala ka na isiping hardisk space o mahirap na controls o installation at cracks. ps3 good buy pag may peke na. miski 200

di minamadali yan. alam naman natin na walang pakahahantungan yan kundi ang pagbaba ng presyo. kung bibili ka maaga mapapamahal kapa mahal na games mahal na controler at mabagal na paglabas ng games. pag nahuli ka murang games murang controler at bili lang ng bili ng games.

may HDTV kami kaso wala namang PS3. bakit naman kasi walang pirated na blu-ray disc for PS3. Wii lang meron kami.. parang PS2 lang yung graphics kaya boring. :-P

^ ok na yung 40 gig talaga... you can actually replace the hard drive of your ps3... sobrang dali lang... 4 screws lang sa likod... bili ka lang ng 120gig na harddrive pero may list na compatible and tested sa ps3 eh... i can't remember the link... google mo nalang yung listahan... tapos when you turn it on your ps3 won't recognize the harddrive then it'll ask you if you want to format it... then after you press yes... just wait a little then you have a 120gig ps3... :-)

Although nagtanong ako ng PS3 sa Grand Central (33k daw yung 40GB nila, ambisyoso) bibili ako nito sigurado.
Reason: God of War III, Silent Hill 5 & GTA4.

I bought my first xbox 360 last year and died a week after. binalik ko sa store at binigyan nila ako ng replacement. since then naging maingat na ako, bought some cooling accesories para hindi mag-overheat yet it died again after 6 months. sarap pa naman yung halo 3 sa xbox live at ang lupit ng graphics ng 360 sa lcd tv. hindi ko na natapos yung elder scrolls : oblivion.

now i bought a ps3 at sa build quality palang walang sinabi ang xbox 360, sayang ang dami ko pa naman na original games sa 360. well, sinisimulan ko na uli ang elder scrolls with my new playstation 3. :-D

not sure about known hardware faults. i think the console price in manila is around 20-35k. sa greenhills may murang console. about 3-5k naman ang game sa datablitz dipende sa title. region free din ang playstation 3 basta nakakabit sa hdtv. hindi pa napapirate ang ps3! :-D

Yes, coz i’m a big fun of sony’s playstation consoles, and for crying out load, I love to play Final Fantasy series.. Even thou other games like DMC4 are playable to any consoles, my main target is only to play Final Fantasy..
Well in reality maybe I shouldn’t by a PS3 coz it cost too much. eh isang game lang naman ang gusto ko malaro sakanya.. If the console gets lower and lower price, Then maybe I could buy one, but maybe there is a perfect emulator na for the console so maybe not. Hehe :-)

however, according to square-enix, they will also be releasing the next FF, which is 13 on the XBox 360. however again, FF fans around the world are cross-fingered on the FFVII remake which would probably, would only be released on PS3. with these issues in mind, all we have to do now is wait. :mrgreen:

ganun talaga pricing ng games. dipende din sa title at kung kelan nilabas tulad ng GTA4 at MGS4 nasa $100+ ang presyo. kung mas bago baga mas mahal. suggestion ko sayo online ka bumili kasi may mga games na nasa $30 - $50 lang ang presyo. yung devil may cry 4 nabili ko ng $50 pero sa local retail store dito (ebgames) nasa $110 ang price.

bry, sa 20gb lang na ps3 yun... yun yata yun emotion engine thingy nila. ngayon hindi na siya backwards capable kasi yung bumibili daw ng ps3 may ps2 na din sabi nila.. :-P

sulit naman din ba yung demo games sa PS3? tsaka paano yun, download muna using your unit (PS3) tapos store sa HD ng unit then pwede na laruin yun anytime (online man o hindi)? I'm planning to buy PS3. Pero sa parehong dahilan, nalilito rin ako kung XBOX 360 ba o PS3. Ang reason kung bakit hindi xbox e dahil sa 3rl. May aircon kami pero ayokong gamitin para lang maglaro ng XBOX, e kaso sobrang init naman sa kwarto. Kung mura nga xbox, sirain naman, PS3 na lang siguro. Libre pa daw games online (demo nga lang).
Ano suggestion niyo? :-D

Sa PS3 so far, wala pang p*rated. Sa Xbox 360, di ko na nalaman kasi 3 months lang inabot yung unit ko. & that was years ago. May sellers naman ng 2nd hand PS3 games gaya medyo mura than brand new.

Yup lumabas yung 3.42FW na nagba-block nung Hack pero aside from that wala naman bagong features yung firmware, another one to be released soon is the 3.50FW that enables us to play 3Dgames IF naka 3DBravia ka sa bahay...so as of now it's all good...

I've had my PS3 for almost a 2years now, hindi pa naman nasisira.
FYI wala pang hardware MOD availbale for PS3 ngayon, Hack/Exploit palang using a USB dongle...:)

The devs are working on 3.50 na yata eh not sure though, as of online gaming sa ngayon hindi mona magagawa kasi in order for you to play online you need to be logged in sa PSN and bago ka makapag login sa PSN kailangan 3.42 device mo...unfortunately 3.42 closed the USB hack..

i agree. do you expect game developers to sell their games at a price of 60-150 pesos, if converted? Remember many factors affect prices of goods, including tax, shipping, revenue, etc. If you're thinking it's overpriced, better buy 2nd hand ones instead. Pinoyps.com caters a thread exclusive for 2nd hand PS3 games under 1k.

ganda ng response pati kabig ng manibela..pag kinalikot pa yung setting para sa grip ng tires kumokontra yung manibela..
and the game, wow..stunning graphics..had to stop minsan para i-enjoy ang scenery..love the detail..
and i read on some newspaper na number 1 game daw ngayon sa asia tong GT5...di na ko magtataka..not really a fan of driving sims pero naliko ako nung nasubukan ko to..

my brother just got our PS3 unit modded via a usb software. well, first, di sya gumagana after the 2nd try na nasa bahay na yung ps3. and second, nabura yung mga save files ng lahat ng user or na-reformat yung ps3. with that said, i really won't suggest the hack. ok naman sakin na nabura yung mga files since i haven't playing anything in sometime. pero badtrip yung mga pamangkin ko kasi nawala yung mga naka-save nya sa Midnight Club at GT5 prologue. :-P

I feel na matagal pa bago magkaroon ng fake (if ever). And since malaking factor na ang online services sa ps3 (updates, psn, dlc, online play), malabong sisikat ang fake. I wouldn't want to miss out on all of those online features.

^ yup. i agree na malayo pa bago sumikat ang fake. for some reasons i see, blue ray discs are still expensive. may blue ray writer na pero i think to duplicate blue-ray games parang wala pa rin. for cheap games the best i can say is the 2nd hand market like sa sulit.com. games at half-price and mostly in good quality pa. :-)

Mismo sir. In order to log-in to the PSN, mandatory mag-upgrade ng firmware. JB = No FW update = No PSN. No PSN = No Online play, No demos, No DLC. Kailangan na din ng Latest Firmware para makapaglaro nang ilang games. Gran Turismo 5, for example, requires 3.50.
It's a cat-and-mouse chase. Hackers exploit, Sony releases patch, hackers exploit again... A never-ending cycle.

support good and worthy game franchises by 'actually' buying them. parang music lang din yan. support your favorite musician/artist by buying their products so they can keep making good music we love and enjoy.
