If $100K happened to be loose change -- at napakalaking IF yun -- I wouldn't mine dropping that kind of coin for a special gears ( :-D) like this...
... BUT what I don't get about this amp is that hindi naman siya known as a great, "to-die-for" amp like Trainwrecks. They made it out of cool gold parts, fine leather, etc. -- yeah, big deal. It's a silly concept, IMO.

In my book, a Bluesbreaker IS a to die for amp for blues-rock. Maybe more than a Trainwreck.
Maybe oas will buy it cuz it's gold and super-expensive and thus puts him in a super-exclusive, "one-man" club. But I'd buy it just because it's a Bluesbreaker.

But I imagine that it was an "ordinary" Bluesbreaker that made history and not really a "gold this, gold that" Bluesbreaker right?

Just to get it straight, I just don't spend for the sake of spending. I spend money on great sounding gear.
Will I spend money on this? No because I dont have the cash.
Even if it sounds great? No because there are other sound priorities I am after.
Just a word of advice, don't use my name to create controversy. So what if you discovered the info? Just words but it really has no relevance to our lives.

Why are you so sensitive anyway? I just pointed out that you like to belong to a small elite or exclusive club. I bet NO ONE in this forum believes you if you deny it. You always say how expensive your gear is, how hard to procure, how special in character, beats everything else, etc. Heck, iilan na nga lang kayong may Baker pero gusto mo pa rin yung #55 mo lang ang "special"?!! Ano tawag mo dun?
By your reaction, I guess you feel being elitist or exclusivity is not good. I guess you have to deal with your own conscience first, not me.

Yeah, just get a damn custom guitar, a hell lot of boutique pedals and a really expensive boutique amp (kahit trainwreck na nga eh) and you'll spend MUCH less than that. I don't think there's any kind of rationale behind buying this amp.

Siguro ibi-business ko. Start a rehearsal/recording studio w/ the nicest gear, with lounge cafe and guitar store sa labas -- tambayan ng musicians... and my own private idaho as well. :-D

Siguro small studio flat and a 3rd hand car, pero decent naman. :-D For me to make my films with that amount? Kaya naman. Cheap naman akong pilmeyker eh. :-D
People who will buy this amp most prob'ly (or should) own a Jaguar. Para may bagayan yung amp. Habang tumutugtog ka sa stage, kasama mo yung kotse! :-D

boutique,antique,historic whatever you call,iisa lang naman punto nyan.it makes you an owner of a one of a king kind thing na ang use nya ay kayang gawin ng ibang lesser known brands,maybe even surpass the thing itself.whats the use of owning one?elitism cguro.but thats an expensive club of sorts.ayoko nyan,there are other more important things(not that i will refuse a boutique anything if its within my budget) to put my money into.
