mas astig mga pinost nyo kesa sakin ah!!! asteeeg! hehehe! siguro sayo lahat nakatingin pag nagperform ka sa band ng ganito gitara mo... wuhooo!!!
Hehehe.. The first two guitars are string bender guitars. The metal arms you see on the bridge and the nut actually bend the notes like a "b" bender but more than one string. Like a pedal steel. The player uses his/her arm to actuate the string bends and then the one at the nut, you grab like a shift lever.
Country sounds. The guy who invented this ain't no slouch in the licks department either. Galing!

This was popular in the '60's. George Barris designed this. He also designed the Batmobile for the original Batman TV series. The Vox Mobile was all over TV back then. The Monkees used to drive around in it. It is an amplifier on wheels. You can tell, times have changed. 8-track tape player was "the" thing back then in car stereo.. No iPods...
George was approached by VOX with an idea to build them a wild customized two-placed roadster which would be completely functional as a car and as a VOX amplifier. This vehicle was to be used for promotion purposes but could not lose the identity of the VOX product. This two-fold problem was taken over and solved by Barris.
The vehicle was to resemble a VOX guitar in silhouette and would create its own high-fidelity audio through the use of self-contained VOX sound equipment. Besides being a beautiful $30,000 show-stopping roadster, the Voxmobile is a completely functional unit in every respect. Its primary purpose is to project this new concept exposing the VOX guitar. This giant amplifier, the Voxmobile, can facilitate no less than 32 compatible VOX guitars with input jacks located along the top of the side body panel and has a VOX dual manual Continental organ mounted in the rear deck area.
Power is transformed from the primary source of supply, a 12 volt auto-lite automotive battery, to 110 AC through two 450 watt inverters. The wild guitar sounds are powered by three powerful VOX Beatle amplifiers, complete with reverb, treble/bass boost and mid-range boost. There is an array of speakers hidden in the framework. In all, there are 2 main drive speakers mounted atop the intake manifold, five 12" speakers, one 18" bass speaker and four tweeters. As though this wouldn't suffice a Muntz stereo cartridge tape deck was installed. It houses 6 speakers and modulators and will be used to produce music when you happen not to have a band handy.
In order that the Voxmobile might be utilized to the fullest, special chrome steps were mounted astride the body and along the bottom of the rear deck compartment. These steps make it possible for three guitarists and an organist to belt out appropriate music while the car is being driven in a parade. It sure beats a marching band!!

No it's an organ. Probably sounds like a Hammond B3. You can see the PIPE FOOT STOPS representing the pipes of a pipe organ in feet. 16' meaning a 16 foot long pipe, etc. Bass frequency ang 16'. The Red Switches are the organ tones in feet. A real Hammond would have the 5 1/3' after the 16'. On this, the 8' follows the 16'. At least meron itong 5 1/3' which is essential sa Hammond tone. A regular Hammond would have 9 stops. This only has six. Missing stops 1 3/5', 1 1/3', 1'. The Volume controls are like draw bars, controlling the volume of each foot. Percussion is like that on a Hammond B3. Vibrato as found on organs, sustain holds the note out. When you play the guitar, the notes sound like an organ. It will sound close to a Hammond. Ceguro you can play chords also.
hehe gwapo neto! lalo na pag naka coffin case
one of a kind kaya tong mga to?

Roger Fisher's Heart Strat..
Guitarist Roger Fisher was an original member of The Army, an all-boy band that found greater success after they changed their name to White Heart, then to Heart, and added Anne and Nancy Wilson to the group.
Around 1978 Fisher decided to make his 1974 Strat a featured attraction in Heart's live show, and he had the guitar customized with special carving, special electronics and LED lights. He used it in the studio and on Heart's Dog and Butterfly tour of 1979.
Hindi parts lang sa restoration.. Guitar was made sometime 1978 and was restored before being sold..Sold na yata the guitar and it probably went for $$$$

In honor of the great BO DIDDLEY who just passed away June 2 2008 at the age of 79, here are a few pics of some of his weird but famous rectangular guitars. Bo influenced many of the rockers who have made history since the 50's.
Diddley influenced Buddy Holly who in turn influenced the Beatles, (Paul McCartney owns Buddy Holly's song catalog and song rights and the name The Beatles came from Buddy's band The Crickets), The Rolling Stones, The Animals, Bruce Springsteen, The Clash, U2, were among those influnced by Bo Diddley.
Bo's home made original: (http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s98/dragongoff/Bodiddleyhomemade.jpg) (http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s98/dragongoff/bo-diddleygiant.jpg) (http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s98/dragongoff/BoDiddley1997.jpg)

INCENSE AND PEPPERMINTS.. i would love to have all of these.. Made by Semie Moseley for the Strawberry Alarm Clock, painted by Von Dutch and used by the Clock in the movie Beyond the Valley Of The Dolls...However some claim this not to be true, notably by Ed King..These were on ebay after changing hands when Moseley died. Beautiful!

Hey guys. ngayon ko lang napansin thread na ito. May ginawa ako for an exhibit nung March.
"Latest work ng Asado king. The guitar was my brother Monchie's. A broken generic Genesis guitar. Initially was just going to do inkwork on it, but then got my hands on a drill so there you go.
Thought I'd stay away from making the design to decorative and stick to a design a guitarist would actually use onstage without the fear of being punched in the scrots.
Concept is dirty, bare bones, primeval-- may amoy. A call towards the original reasons for playing in a band. Rock is not an elitist, pseudo-intellectual trendy endeavor so shut up, turn off the delay pedal, and just packing play yer guitar."
