Title: Genesis Series Guitars

I have a natural finish Genesis Series guitar that someone bought for me back in the 90's from Yupangco/Perfect Pitch. Would anyone know details about the Genesis Series guitar? Like where was it manufactured, who manufactured it, etc?

Hope you can enlighten me.

Nagsisisi lang ako kasi binenta ko sya to a fellow churchmate pero parang gusto syang bilhin ulit, kaso lang ayaw na nya ibenta sakin, waaaaa!!!

Sir, it's an M314. So made in Korea pala. Is it a discontinued brand already?

sa akin m313 floating bridge sa akin pula at naka s-s-h setup

yung m314f nak floyd yan ano kulay niya naka 6 in line headstock ba yan? ano pickup setup niya?

ikot-ikot lang kayo sa mga tindahan dun. di ko na kasi matandaan kung san mismo yung tindahang nakitaan ko nun. pero parang sa tabi ng sunjun...

Post by: omen on April 17, 2008, 03:47:24 PM: ganyan din genesis ko, apple red tpos black hardware. nka seymourduncan screaming demon pa ung bridge pup nya. nanakaw lang cya sa haus nung other guitarist namin kasama ibanez nya. di na ako nagbebreak nung college pra makabuy nung guitar at accessories tapos nawala lang ng prang bula. eversince noon di na ulit ako nag guitar dhil sa sama ng loob ko. after 10 yrs lang ako nkarecover. 1995-2005. :x :cry: :-)

to genesis owners: restore nyo yan. maganda yung kahoy. I remember my genesis used to have a natural swirling effect on its own when I played it clean. sayang lang hindi naalagaan..

we have the same model....I mean this guitar in my 8 years of playing still gives me the chills, after Jobet (BAMF) and I made some major alterations on the guitar electronics( using BAMF's dugo ng kambing for the potting mixture and his gen 1 crystal scalarizer to complement the pups) , this baby despite his worn out stock parts and still kick-ass stock pickups w/ the alterations made the guitar sound heavy on clean and heavier while on dirt....I plan to have this restored in terms of guitar color, restoring it to its metallic black finish and have the 5-way toggle switch and some tone pots replaced

Nung nabasa ko 'tong post mo sir, mas lalo kong na-miss yung Genesis ko. Ayaw na kasi i-benta sakin ulit nung present owner yung guitar eh. Grrrr!!!

got it about 2 years ago (P3,000 w/ Beatbox)

Ganda ng tunog, pero ang comparison ko non ay sa RJ strat.
Nang naka aquire ako ng SG, kiompare ko ulit yung tunog, mejo malamig lang ng konti yung tone.

I was thinking of selling this, but seeing the pics, and the possibilities of this guitar. hehehe...wag na lang.

If this used to be a Genesis, then I am amazed. Great restoration work on something that is originally meant for beginners. :-)

I also used to own a Genesis M314F back in the very early 90's. It was actually good and served its purpose of being played over "inuman" jams and small gatherings. I wasn't part of the Y music company yet then and was very naive to know which ones are good and bad. When I was gifted with one of the earliest Washburn MG30s (US inspired), that was when I had to let go of M314F and gave it to church... :-)

thanks. it's still essentially a genesis except for the bridge, nut, bridge pickup, and tone pot. hated the green logo on the headstock, so i scraped it off! :lol:

Mas slim yung width ng fretboard even the profile ng neck slim sya. as far as dun sa haba ng buong neck (from the tip of headstock to tip of the heel) mas short siya ng less than 2 inches.

This is his first electric guitar way back '95. The neck's immaculate.. I can't even believe the quality of this guitar compared to ones sold today.

Where were these guitars made and how much was these back then sa yupangco?? panalong panalo to!

I like the fact that they're Heavy and can be customized.

I even used one, borrowed from a friend last year, a floyded H-S-S white model from the 90's.

Still sounded great!

i have with me a guitar similar dun sa red na nakaquote. It's not playable now.. where can i have it restored. is it worth restoring pa ba??
