boss ds1(distortion) noise problem

maingay po ba talaga ang boss ds1? o may problema na ang ds1 ko...sobrang ingay kase pag naka on,, ung tipong kahit hindi iniistrum ung gitara.. maingay sya.. kahit nasa level 5 lang ung dist and level 3 ung volume.. nag iingay pa rin..

napansin ko rin.. pag naka off ung unit eh may konting ilaw pa din sa led...(ok naman tunog nya pag naka off, functioning ung clean sound)

 Pwedeng Cable bro or yung electronics ng guitar mo baka may grounded.
 Try ka din ibang dirt pedal kung meron pwde rin siguro na pedal din.

im guessing you are using a universal adaptor or a power supply without proper filters or isolation.

try running the pedal with batteries and check if the noise is still present. if its gone, then it is indeed the PSU.
