point of clarification: the metal muff is NOT true bypass contrary to a post i read in page 1 or 2

Nano Metal Muff lang ang true bypass. The Micro and the full version are not.   :-)

oooppsss.. my bad. Edited na po. Anyway parang true bypass parin kasi sakin coz naka looper strip ako. hehehe! :-D

Anyway, I was playing with the metal muff a while ago. Metal muff + DAno F&C eq = FACE MELTING Distortion. IMHO.

Yah. Pero ung noise gate ko before sa Dirt ko.
Guitar>wah(looped)>noisegate>comp>vol pedal>gain pedals(looped) etc...... So talagang tahimik lang ung metal muff. Pero if you boost it with another dirt pedal like SD-1 for my case my noise siya(alangan) but the noise is tolerable and I think you don't need to boost MM. I will try to make some clips po sir ha.

coz ive opened my metal muff. kahit di mo pa buksan malalaman mo na agad kung di true bypass just by bypassing your pedal(unpowered, of course, that is without batteries and the wall current) and if your signal runs through then it is true bypass.

i damaged my metal muff when it was new and found that it had an input buffer when i opened it up

Bro, just my opinion. Metal muff is really far from Metal zone talaga.  :-D

I A/B'ed it with my buddy's EHX Metal Muff and it pwns the muff in every aspect! This nails Pantera, GodSmack, Limp Bizkit, HUM, Sepultura and every hard metal doom sound you can think of!! The MID/ Range knobs are totally interactive! This is the SH*t!!! I can't even past 1 o'clock with the gain knob to get a very deep chugging mayhem effect! With its interactive knobs, I'm pretty sure that I would be able to cut in a band live setting. I think Turi also has this... this is a keeper for sure!

You mean like the Zoom Multi? nah... very different. This, I think is more sturdy. Doesn't have that loud click though...
