Gibraltar Intruder pedal

im planning to buy a double bass pedal. and stumbled upon a product catalog of gibraltar. the intuder pedal look bada** . if you guys have used or own an intruder. i would like to hear your inputs. pros and cons, feel. anything.

Nakatry na ko ng single pedal na intruder sa friend ko, and for me, nothing special... Actually parang 6611 din yung feel, parang mas gusto ko pa nga yung 6611 mas solid kasi yung feel "para sakin". Pero siguro durability-wise, panalo na yung intruder... Yun lang po..

gamit ko intruder pedal. ang pinagkaiba nya sa 6611 or prowler ata yun. mas madami adyasan yung intruder. although mas gusto ko padin eliminator. or siguro nacucurious lang ako bat masyado overrated yung elims kesa sa ibang pedal.

okey ang intruder no regrets sa pagbili ko. may kasama pang gig bag pag binili mo.

I have a 9611DC (Intruder) pedal which i use as my everyday practice pedal. Unlike the lower models Avenger & Prowler, "Foot Board & Beater angle can be adjusted independently". Hoop clamp asembly has quick release feature.The extra adjustability is it's major leap compared to the lower models.

There are 3 basic Intruder models namely 9611DC (Double Chain/ Round Cam), 9611SD (Strap Drive/ Round Cam) and 9611DD (Direct Drive/ Offset Cam), and another 3 models which are the Double Bass counter parts of the above mentioned.

I find these Pedals a little sluggish with their original factory installed beaters due to the beater's weight , but "replacing them with IC BEATERS makes a Night and DAY difference in terms of Response".

Though this pedal is nowhere near my IC or an Elim, Id say they are good enough for most users. Now regarding it's "FEEL" ..... well it is a very subjective thing that you'll just have to try them out yourself.

gamit ko din po 9611sd-db these are very good pedals in terms of function,adjustability,durability and its price..tama si $trayC@t its better you get a new set of beaters for your pedals medyo mabigat nga yung kasamang beaters...HTH

lamang ang intruder in terms of adjustability, and in turn, feel. plus, may choices ka pa sa intruder - chain drive, strap drive, or direct drive (naka-try nako ng direct drive... swabeng-swabe saka mabilis).  ang problem lang sa intruder is yung price.

now if you're looking for a good bnew pedal below 10k, then ok ang avenger. i own one, and sulit na sulit to. solid ang feel, and faster din sya compared to other pedals in its price range.

kung kaya nang budget intruder ka na pero if hindi kaya nang budget avenger series.. intruder series po kasi gamit ko..

oo nga e, kung kaya ko lang yung prize ng intruder, dun na rin ako pero ic nalang halos kapresyo  narin pala eh.hehe

siguro mag avanger nalang ako para may budget din ako para sa bagong cymbals.
