A bunch of questions about the torq connectiv system please..
1. I'd like to ask those in the know if a lot of control is given up on a cheaper time-coded solution like Torq Connective in comparison to SSL or FS or Traktor Scratch? Does it have a much more limited feature set? Is it buggier or known to be less stable?
2. Does Torq have good VST as well as external midi controller support?
3. How much does the Connectiv Vinyl+CD pack go for at JB?
Are the other time-coded solutions distributed locally and if so, how much?
Money is DEFINITELY an issue for me, now and always.

4. Im looking to expand my laptop-based live set-up to incorporate traditional dj decks.
How can tempo be synchronized with, say, Ableton Live? Can Torq's master tempo be synced to a master clock (e.g. Ableton's)? How would this be achieved?
Can the connectiv hardware be selected as a soundcard in Live, and then used simultaneously with the Torq software? If not, I'll need 2 laptops and I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Any answers will be much appreciated.

I'm trying to decide where to put my hard-earned money.
