Vintage Modified Strat HSS/SSS
« on: October 20, 2008, 03:01:17 PM »
Mga strat masters. May nakasubok na ba nito? Sale sa Yupanco nito @ 14k. At sabi sa mga reviews...mas maganda pa raw tunog nito sa ibang American Strat. I use to have Fender MIJ '57RI Stratocaster. And I have to admit that I miss the tone of a strat. Maganda kayang replacement ito? I don't have much money to buy another Fender strat.

Great sounds here. If you are looking for an entry level sound, this isn't it. The Duncan Designed are very nice pickups imho. Bell like Strat sounds, GREAT quack as I said before. The only thing I would like to do is put the tone knob on the bridge pup, instead of on the middle. It's pretty useless for me as I never use the middle pickup alone. The bridge is very hot, and has no tone control other than the volume knob. I use this guitar as my main gigging guitar in a funk/zydeco band. Using it through a Peavey DB 1x15, I'm getting excellent snappy clean rhythm sounds, and warm singing leads when I put a pedal in front of the amp. Since the tone knobs work so well, I can go from bright and snappy to warm and round with the twist of a knob. And again, since I am all about the notch positions, I am just a happy camper with this guitar!

Salamat po sa makakatulong.

I have owned a Fender 57' Vintage reissue with customized Seymor Duncan Pickups. This Squier Modified Vintage Strat is eqal to or better than that Fender at 1/4 the price.

Has that classic vintage fender strat straight out of the box. The versatility of this guitar allows all styles of music to be played
