I had used a GFX-3 before. It's so hard to tweak on the fly! Of course, there's the energize knob, which supposedly acts as a global tone control. But if that doesn't do it for you, you're left with a lot of buttons to push. Just look at the manual, and see how tedious it is to adjust the EQ.
Also, unlike other zoom multis, you can't chain together the modulations. Buti pa yung 505/606, you can chain chorus to flanger, phaser, and some other modulations (and I liked that about the 606)!
But other than that, it's a fun multi. And I've heard some good tones from other people (not me
) who use it exclusively. I like the reverse delay. It seems that out of all the zoom multis, only the GFX-3 has that.
Can't say anything about the Boss ME-30. People seem to like 'em better. I suggest you download both the manuals and compare them for ease of use.
