Mas makakatipid ka kung ikaw ang magcoconstruct. Standad width size nung mga rackmount gears is 19". Then you compute kung iang U's yung mga gears mo. Usually crossovers are 1U then yung mga power amps usually 2Us to 4Us. Kung 231 yung eq mo most likely 2U yan. Use plywood para mas rigid. then kailangan mo ng ribet, at aluminum angle bars. cornes and locks are sold sa Raon.

Kung malapit ka lang sa akin i would glad to help you out.

One (1) U is not equivalent to 1".  It is = 1 and 3/4 inches.  Do the math.  Also, although 19" racks are standard, you have to add 1/8" on your rack space to fit almost most pro racked equipment.  I prefer using wood ears as they are non-conductive, preventing the possibility of all the equipment being part of a ground loop.

Hope these help.  Good luck in your rack building.

My Rack is made up of WOOD. With little spacing among the rackmount gears...for the purpose of releasing the HEAT produced by each. and to prevent the metal cases to touch each other's...

Sir mikep: " and to prevent the metal cases to touch each other's..." = hope there's no problem with this..

Bro, san exactly ka nakabili ng rack rails? Magkano inabot?
I'd rather be sharp than flat.
